How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was good. Little loud because of the highway and they were doing Reno’s so it was abit of a mess. They also had a section where they obviously allowed dogs so there was dog poo around the swimming pool

Very convenient place to stop for a couple of night on our road trip between Sydney and Brisbane. Lovely location to explore. Also excellent if you want to visit the Big Banana as it’s right next door!

Bed moves due to wheels on hard floor. Only an issue if sitting in bed watching tv

Limited parking next to room due to renovations taking place, when I went walking around the property I thought it could do with a good clean up in the gardens to present better

The service at the restaurant on Sunday morning was abysmal one owner trying to do Dr- we left after waiting 20 minutes to be served

The renovation going on, I got back to room and had no water, the reception person didn’t know how to smile or greet properly when I went to ask about the water. It was noisy from the upstairs could hear everything going on.
The property was clean and they are renovating so will be nice when finished. One of reception person was really helpful and friendly.

If you are super sensitive to noise at night, be sure to have earplugs as the traffic on the highway is constant. Didn’t bother us but it could be a problem for others.
Basic but a good price and clean for a quick stop over. The room itself is a bit out dated but it was roomy and had everything you need, including a fridge and plates, cutlery etc. Also a small playground for the kids which was great.

The rooms were a bit tired however renovations are underway.

Upon arrival the dryer was not working, which was an issue, however this was quickly resolved. Would recommend one or two more washers and dryers, especially during peak sporting season when lots of sporting players are staying at the accomodation.
It was great value for money. We travelled with multiple families for a sporting tournament and it was very affordable. We made use of the common bbq area frequently for shared meals with our team, and at first there was no bbq however this was quickly provided with much thanks! We had our towels changed regularly which was great, and staff were very helpful when we required assistance. The customer service and hospitality was great and we were always greeted with a smile.

The restaurant. We dined there on a previous stay and it was ok.... BUT.... This time it was very poor. I had fish and chips, 2 pieces of dried over fried fish with a smattering of chips. My wife had Ceasar salad. Lettuce and bacon. No croutons or cheese. At least my granddaughter got a burger with was ok. I think delivered pizza would have been better.
We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable for just one night.
