How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Parking was bad, unclean, spiderwebs, no cutlery, aircon didn't work, no cleaning cloth. Fan and fridge were old and noisy, the the balcony was unkept and in disrepair, concrete breaking away causing a family member to trip near the reception. I won't stay there again and certainly not recommend this place.
The location was great and the beds were comfortable

Needs some maintenance in the ensuite. The fan requires a good clean or replaced as it wasn’t getting rid of any of the steam at all. So foggy. 🙄Had two kettles instead of a toaster which was annoying.
Walking distance to shops and family who live there.

The badinage in the bathroom, both taps were not working properly and the toilet wouldn't stop running..

Arrived late and didn’t have any instructions. After wandering around a bit, I called the motel number and the guy talked me through the process but some instructions up front would have been helpful.
Bed was comfortable. Sheets were clean. It’s tired and run down but was all I needed. Slept really well.

I booked this room at late February..Accommodation for next Tech course on 25-26 march ..I was then told my boss changed his mind and course hotel paid and booked rydges ...I asked motor inn owner on refund ..Said if booked on line I can't refund...So I didn't try contacting Booking.com...I didn't even check into place..Cronulla Motor Inn..

We have stayed at this property on a number of occasions but this is the first time since approx 2021. Sadly it is neglected many things are rusted broken not working & dirty. We woke this morning to ants all through the container of food we had. The entrance to our room joint entrance was dirty with leaves & dirt. The pool area is filthy. It is ashamed It’s so badly neglected as our previous experiences were good. It’s never been flash but it was always acceptable with the cost but now it’s run down dirty & neglected. I’m unsure if it’s a pet friendly facility there was a dog on the premises & we were woken early hours if the morning with barking.

The room door didn’t have a proper latch for locking, the sink didn’t drain and the toilet didn’t flush properly.

Check in was agreed to be between 1-2 pm. We didn't get in our room until 4.40pm. The blame was put on previous occupants who refused to leave at 10am because they were drunk and slept in. Bed linen was clean,and comfortable that was all. TV didn't work. Bathroom shower was full of mould, and floor tiles were dirty as well. Sink taps both kitchen and bathroom were lose and constant dripping. Curtains smelly and hanging lose. Door was lose even though it did lock. Screen door didn't shut properly, no lock.

It was old and dirty. I rented 2 rooms both were disgustingly dirty. Hair in the shower which was full of mould with tiles missing on the floor. Room smelt of mould. Soap tray was dirty. The shower head had 5 jets that actually worked. The shower curtain was stiff and dirty. Desperate in need of maintenance
