We didn’t book to stay long enough! 2 nights was good but 3 or more would have been better!

Omg… where to start… very quiet location. A beautiful country cottage. The owners attention to detail and the extra provisions to ensure our comfort were amazing!

Everything great. Only suggestion is a ramp on big step at end of passage in cottage and maybe a rail too.

Comfortable beds, wood heater, plenty of breakfast provisions, complimentary wine and port, lovely gardens and scenery.

My husband, son, and dog had an absolutely wonderful stay at D2 Waterville! The house is beautiful, there is warmth and coziness that made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The house is spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is vinyard facing, close to everything we needed, with easy access to the charming towns and stunning nearby scenery. Our hosts, Dean and Duc were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. They sent great recommendations prior to our stay and catered for our dietary requirements. The house was fully equipped with everything we could need, with sustainability features and also dog friendly, which meant we could bring Hamish along without any stress. A considerable amount of care and attention has gone into the house and the gardens. We can't recommend D2 Waterville enough and are already looking forward to returning! (We stayed end of April 2025)

Lovely rural vibe property, nestled around vineyards. Very clean, very well equipped and close to all we wanted to do. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Location was picturesque and easy to find but private amongst rolling hills and vineyards. Birds in trees and bushes made breakfast under the gazebo a delight. Breakfast provisions provided were plentiful in addition to complimentary wine, chocolates and fresh fruit. Very clean with comfortable beds.

I can't say there was anything.

Breakfast was perfect. More than expected. A real effort was put in and it went a long way. All the little extras, the Port, the champagne 🍾! Brilliant. Enjoyed our walk on the property! Beautiful venue and would highly recommend.

There was nothing not to like.

There was nothing not to like. So quiet and a wonderful place to spend with friends to celebrate one’s birthday. Everything was beautiful. Loved walking through the garden. A little cool to enjoy the gazebo. Breakfast provisions plentiful and so many things to read and view. Communication with Dean was excellent. So so accomodating. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing a stay home away from home!! Thank you.

Beautiful old cottage set among the fields, peaceful and idyllic. Immaculate, wonderfully decorated in keeping with the period of the property, every detail considered, very generous breakfast provisions. Sheep and hens added to the experience.

Arrival instructions were easy to follow along with check in instructions. Breakfast provisions were ample for a family of four. There was plenty to give us a good start to each day. The cottage was so comfortable and cozy with plenty of firewood to use. The beds were warm and comfy. The kitchen facilities were clean and organised with everything you needed to cook a meal. There were board games that were great for us all to play as a family along with a DVD collection. We were so happy with the location - quiet and we enjoyed feeding the sheep and looking at the chickens. Lots of room for the kids to run around with a walking trail (the lavender trail) just up the road. Certainly one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had! Thankyou Dean and Duc! We would love to come back some time soon 😊

Can not fault the place.

This property is absolutely delightful. We were so impressed the first time that this is the second time we have stayed. The hosts are amazing, the added detail such as fresh fruit, milk, bread and so forth are wonderful. The kids loved feeding the sheep and collecting eggs from the chicken house. We will be heading back again!
