Would have been amazing if the Perspex was clean on roof. Understand that’s hard but for us would have made it close to a 10/10 stay. Another tip would be tiny changes to food. Local tropical fruits on platter a great way to display local produce. Same with wines. Local options would have been good to see.

Location was amazing., perfect amount of cabins. Fantastic seeing croc Barra and roo on the menu. Best shower experience ever.

Given its remote location, you cannot expect amenities like in a city but that is part of the adventure. The food was rather salty.

The beautiful location and the friendly staff.

It's a bit pricey. It would have been nice to have a couple of chairs in the room too.

It's a lovely place beautifully situate in the daintree rainforest area. Has the feeling of living in the forest. The staff and very warm welcoming and happy to help. We had a lovely stay.

    Nothing.

We enjoyed our stay. This place was amazing set in the most beautiful surroundings. The walk down to the river was worth the time. The rooms are clean and the bathroom with the full glass window looking out to the rainforest was serene. Jason was very helpful. He gave us information about what to do and where to go. And on the day we left we had a flat tyre and Jason was very kind to help us out to change it.

The wine options for dinner at the on-site restaurant could be a lot better for the price you pay.

The Tranquility. The quality of the cabins were better than expected - ie every thing is sealed, you don't feel like animals will get in and there is AirCon. The shower looking into the Daintree is a lovely way to wake up! Breakfast was included in the price which was lovely.

There’s nothing to fault about the property!

It was in the heart of the Daintree rainforest and what a beautiful spot it is! You are surrounded by the rainforest and jungle, with a nice holiday and modern touch to it to suit your holiday and relaxation needs. Even a nice spa to cool off from the heat as well. The Daintree wilderness lodge is also close to all tourist attraction spots such as ocean safari, croc cruises, Daintree swimming holes and so much more! The staff we so lovely and accommodating, made me and my partner feel so welcome and at home while we were away from home. We will definitely be coming back!

I would have liked some extra crockery and cutlery in the cabin. A few plates, bowls, knives and forks. We wanted to put together a cheese board but didn’t have anything to put it on. The breakfast was OK. The fresh fruit plate and juice was a lovely addition. I think for the price though, I would suggest to have more variety and have free coffee top ups.

We had a great stay. The cabins were cleverly appointed so you couldn’t see your neighbour. We felt like we were there in our own. The rainforest surrounded us, it was truly magical. The cabins were really clean and the towels, bed and pillows were extra comfy. Great toiletries too. Jan and Lee are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Even though we were there in the wet, we loved it!

    Nothing....it was great!

LOVED the tucked-away location in the rainforest. All the cabins were well spaced and private. The bathroom was really well appointed and despite being prepared to compromise on the hot water or the shower pressure it exceeded our expectations. The food was locally sourced, excellent quality and cooked by Jason to take into account individual preferences. The plunge pool was refreshing for a dip after a hot day in the rainforest. Sadly we didn't see a cassowary but the Night Walk which Jason organised for us with a well-informed naturalist was superb. The following day we followed the Nature Walk around the Wilderness Lodge grounds and spotted a Musky Rat-Kangaroo which was cute. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Nothing - perhaps initially, the fact that the spa pool was not heated, but since it was 30 degrees, i expect this was the intention, to cool off the heat in the afternoon which was lovely.

Cosy settled in the rainforest with 20 meters to next cabin. Only 7 cabins, total, we had 2x since traveled with our teenage kids. This made us feel special to the wonderful staff we met, and what a kitchen. Wooho - 10 points on the dinner!

Did not see Cassowary on are two walks, but maybe next time.

This eco lodge is a real gem. It is run on sustainable principles, with everything elevated above Rainforest ground. Each visitor is assigned their own detached hut at the end of a walkway, and the huts have lots of windows and a long skylight to look out at the rain forest where you see cassowary droppings. The beds are highly comfortable and bathroom is amazing with natural bath fittings and the shower having a full height window. Staff are lovely with lots of information provided about the Rainforest and surrounding area to explore. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were superb. Loved our stay.

The wilderness lodge is incredible. I would highly recommend staying here. It is luxurious and cosy at the same time. The location is perfect, the boardwalks lit by small lights add to the incredible beauty of this place. The staff are just as incredible as the location. Thank you especially to Lee who made our stay very comfortable. The food was beautiful, some of the best barramundi have ever had. To sit in the rainforest and take it all in was just incredible. The shower was my favourite thing 😂
