My stay at the Daylesford exceeded all my expectations - the staff were absolutely fantastic, the shared bathroom facilities were top-notch and the rooms were very comfortable. The food downstairs was amazing and the pub location meant I could walk to everywhere I needed to go in town.

No guest lounge, shared bathroom. We understand why though, you can't create something if there's no space. It's a lovely old building...

The pub closes by 11pm so if you're planning on having an early night, there'll be a bit of noise. They offer earplugs in a cute duck themed pouch.

Located in walking distance to everything! The staff were exceptional and very accomodating - I would also recommend having a pub meal there, and not forgetting the wood-fired pizzas which were yum. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows! The small touches such as these, and the robe, tote bag, hotel write-up and engraved tea cups added to the cosyness of the room. We had really bad weather with the rain but the room stayed exceptionally warm. The shower/bath is shared, really modern and clean, and great soap/shampoo.

We had a fun comfortable stay in this perfectly located pub. We had a glorious sunset from the upstairs verandah and enjoyed a warm night by the fire in the pub.

If more milk could be provided please. By the time we got up at 8am go make coffee- the milk was all gone. Maybe allocate a jar per room with room number.

Basic rooms no TVs & shared bathroom but price was reasonable. Was just a busy period being Easter & charged 15 or 20% surcharge on all food & drinks. Cocktails were in small like sherry glasses instead of a cocktail glass so was expensive. Otherwise a nice stay.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay. Right in the heart of Daylesford, the hotel is a delightful old character-filled building with a bustling atmosphere and lovely staff. Absolutely recommend staying here. 😊

We stayed for one night at this very comfortable hotel. The rooms have been tastefully renovated. Bathrobes and slippers were a lovely touch! We were kindly assisted with our luggage up the stairs to our room.

Beautiful recently restored pub accommodation with style and comfort. The bed linen was high quality, the decor cool and understated, the little touches (like bathrobes, nespresso, slippers, local mineral water and even a beaut branded tote bag) much appreciated and beyond what you'd expect for pub digs! Yes, the bathroom is shared but kept very clean and again, stylishly appointed. Staff super friendly and the pub itself is fabulous, too.

Very noisy right outside my window on balcony with a rowdy drunk group, was bearable as they exited by 6ish. Thought my single room was overly pricey at 187 per night, given its size and communal shared bathroom. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and generally ALWAYS choose to stay in hotel pub rooms and this was really cosy.
