Not much in the area we brought our own food which I would recommend. Price is a little steep for what you get but it is nice.

It is a problem to access the Internet but it's a problem of the remote location, not the hosts.

There’s breakfast cereals in the room but you can’t touch it. We weren’t sure if we could use the tea bags, etc … that were in the room. Luckily we had some with us. Some of the glasses were dirty (lip stick).

The location, close distance to the Lake St Clair discovery / information centre. Quiet location.

I could hear the water pump come on whenever any of the other cabins used the toilet or shower during the night/early morning. But I’m a light sleeper. My husband slept like a log!!

It was convenient, very clean and comfortable. The heater had been turned on before we got there so it was lovely and warm. It had everything we needed. Fantastic hot shower! Would highly recommend.

We didn't find the receptionist friendly and I wasn't happy that she wrote credit card details on a piece of paper- in case we caused damage I think. She said they get destroyed after guests have left but it's disconcerting and not a secure system.

Chalet was clean and had a comfortable bed and a hot shower. There were decent cooking facilities and you could make use of a communal bbq. There is a good cafe neigjbouring the site suitable for breakfast & lunch and it does stay open in evenings sometimes I believe. The location was good for breaking a long journey from Hobart to Cradle Mountain and we had the opportunity to visit The Wall in the Wilderness.

Bed wasn't the best but still comfortable, rested after our long journey and certainly good for studio type accommodation. Quiet despite being on the main road.

Great location for our transition from Hobart to Strahan. Better still the local hotel had opened just 4 days earlier after a long period of closer. Pub food experience was a treat. Also given the choice to have breakfast at the Chalet or not and we chose the local cafe. Excellent choice and great start to the day.

The cabin we had is only suitable for couples (one bed) so not good for more than 2. I'm not sure if there are other options in the park. The airer in the cabin is only small for those things that you don't want to put in the dryer.

The cabin had an attached carport for the car and both a washing machine and a dryer. The room was equipped with two heaters that worked amazingly. The bathroom was a decent size with a really good shower setup. All in all, a wonderful set up for a couple. I liked being able to sit out the back of my cabin and not see into anyone else's or they into mine. Right next door is a cafe open for breakfast and lunch and a hotel just down the street (walking distance for those who can walk) for dinner.

Because I had accidentally mucked up my booking the greeting when I arrived was not very welcoming or conciliatory.

The cabin was very well equipped. Everything we might have needed was provided: small griller, electric hotplate, frypan., teapot, coffee plunger etc. There was attention to detail in providing touch lamps, tissues for each bed, electric blankets, lovely books and magazines to peruse etc.
