Situated right next to stairwell where people going up and down at all hours set the security light off- shining straight into our room.

Love the location right next to beach. Roomy suite and bed was super comfy. Aircon/heating great and kitchen has everything we needed. Appreciated the complimentary toilet roll however had it been more than 1 ply, we may not have needed the second roll.

Loved view from unit 10 .. the outdoor seating was great on the balcony. Unit was clean and contained everything we needed. Bed comfortable and area quiet. Enjoyed morning walk onto the beach access at rear of property, then to cafe nearby. Also used the swimming pool and would have loved to use the seating closer to the beach for a picnic or BBQ if we had the time. Good parking area

We found the queen bed to be quite hard, and the layout of the unit felt awkward. I don't think a family of four could sit comfortably in the space provided. The outdoor chair cushions were damp from the rain on the day of our arrival and should be brought indoors. Additionally, the crockery wasn't clean. day of arrival. Crockery should be cleaned.

Driftwood is situated on a beautiful part of the beach. Although the unit we stayed in was old, it was generally clean and tidy. The location was excellent.

No body wash or recliner/L shape lounge to put your feet up. Unfortunately, the birds nesting disturb sleeping at 5am - still will highly recommend, wildlife is only natural

Unit was dated and TV in bedroom needs upgrade as doesn’t get channels. Pool area was unkept and lots of bindys in grass area. Shared courtyard area with another unit doesn’t give much privacy.

We stayed in Unit 3 Bathroom was a bit squeezy/narrow. The toilet was quite low & hard for older people & those with mobility issues. The window didn't have a permanent curtain/blind on it & so it wasn't very private. However, the lovely cleaner, Tracey was wonderful as she took the time to arrange a temporary cover for our stay. The Oven didn't work, but the Cleaner, Tracey arranged for this to be fixed during our stay & when we needed the oven urgently, she even arranged for us to use an oven in another more modern & beautifully set up unit which was empty. I was so grateful for this as I was able to bake the Anzacs just in time for our family gathering. Thank you Tracey... 🩷 You are a great caretaker for Driftwood & we so appreciated all you did for us during our stay...the team at Harcourts are so very lucky to have you... A few other things needed fixing which Tracey was chasing up. The handheld shower clip & The security door latch. The parking area was a bit tight for some of the units if you have a bigger vehicle or you're an older person.

We loved that Driftwood has a beautiful back drop to the beach with no road in between....see photos. It was very peaceful at the back of this property & so nice to sit right near the water on the green grassy land with our cup of coffee. ☺️

The metal stairs outside the unit were very loud when people went up and down

The location was great. We had an ocean view, our unit was number 10 that looked over the pool and BBQ area. The only downside was other people in the units that were partying until about midnight on our 2nd night. They were swimming, bomb diving and using fowl language and were extremely loud running up and down the metal stairs. This was a very unfortunate event that spoilt such a beautiful place to stay.

The shower recess is narrow. Main TV is on the small side. The parking is suited to shorter cars as a long one would restrict the driveway access. There is uncovered parking further towards the beach. The complex is aging and there are signs of advanced corrosion on external steelwork. It is evident that improvements are being made.

The unit had all you'd need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. Plenty of towels, soaps and shampoos, etc. The proximity to the beach is magic.
