The house was so warm! It makes so much difference having a warm house on arrival during winter. The kitchen was huge and the loungeroom was comfy and cosy. Beds were comfy and the street is very quiet. It was lovely to wake to kangaroos outside the window.

Only thing disappointing was that I booked for early checkin late checkout.. I had to chase up the staff on this..as it wasn't recognised on my info sent to me.. Meant to check out at 12.. was told cleaners are coming,so can do 11 30... when you pay for a booking...I shouldn't have to ask if it's ok.....that was abit disappointing... other than that... the house itself is perfect!

The house upon arriving was warm and welcoming.. heaters were all on..so cosy .. its was extremely clean as well.. there's was nothing that was missing for my stay.. perfect house

Very nice house decorated with taste, all king beds super comfortable, all you need is there! And very clean. Great location with hikes at your fingertips but also not that far from Halls Gap the heart of the Grampians.

Beautifully styled and spacious. Loved the location across the road from the reserve with the evening arrival of the kangaroos. The mamas and their joeys in pouch were gorgeous! So close to the Royal Mail Hotel an absolute bonus as well as proximity to the Old Bakery. This is our second stay and would highly recommend for couples as well as family stays.

Everything was great One guest killed a white tail in a loo roll in the middle of the night!! No trauma. Just a talking point with the English couple in our party.

Everything was superb.

Dunkeld House is a real gem. I loved my two night stay here, the house is nicely located on a quiet road with beautiful views of the mountains beyond the oval. Kangaroos hop down the road to graze on the oval every night. It is a spacious and very well thought out space with every comfort needed. I also liked being able to pick the fresh herbs in the garden. Thank you for a great stay.

Peaceful location, gorgeous decor, ambience was fantastic overlooking countryside, log fire extra warm, size and comfort of bedding, kitchen facilities.

There could have been more essentials provided in the kitchen. It's a fully equipped kitchen but there was no vinegar or spices and the only oil was a spray. In the bathroom, shampoo and bodywash were provided however in a generic bottle so I wasn't able to know what ingredients were in the bottle. There was no coffee table in the lounge room.

Place was warm and welcoming and everything was easy to use with instructions provided. Lights were on and the heater going which was nice. The place was sparkling clean and in really good condition and very tastefully decorated.

It was so welcoming and so easy. We loved that the fire was ready to light and all heaters were on and lighting was calm and peaceful to walk into. We all felt so at home.
