The laundry is downstairs, but Lisa did say that she was trying to get it moved. The pillows on the bed were too firm for us, but this is probably a personal issue.

Lisa was lovely and left us some fresh bread and other treats. Coastal views. We saw the new Spirit of Tasmania come in. The kitchen was well equipped with two different coffee machines.

I couldn't fault this place at all. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't book earlier so that I could stay longer. I put off booking my accommodation and sadly someone got in before me. I will know better next time.

Oh my goodness. I absolutely LOVED this place. It was like a home away from home. The Light House was beautifully decorated and oozing character. Very clean and comfortable. The high quality French Linen was such an added bonus. Lisa, the host was very friendly and genuinely wanted to ensure that I enjoyed my stay and that I knew she was accessible if I needed anything. I cannot recommend this place enough. The 360 degree views were sensational. It was close to everything yet nice and private. Such great value for money! I will be back for sure. Thank you Lisa for your hospitality.

Lisa was absolutely lovely, arriving early to turn on the heating and meeting us at check-in to walk us through the property. The furnishings and comforts were perfect, and the space felt cosy and welcoming, with stunning views from nearly every room. It's the kind of place you genuinely want to spend time in. Conveniently located close to the beach and shops, it was also full of thoughtful touches – fresh bread and butter, mineral water, milk, coffee, biscuits, and other amenities that made us feel right at home. Beautiful costal views and thoughtfully furnished home. Everything you require is available, and of a very high standard. Beds are soft and comfortable. There is plenty of space for a family of 5. It felt like we were staying in a luxurious hotel. Lisa was a wonderful host and we will definitely return.

Nothing to not like. If I had to find anything 🤔, maybe smart TV's and remotes possibly a little too smart for older guests. 😁 But not really an issue at all.

Our host was wonderful - very friendly; made us feel welcome. Fresh bakery bread, butter & jam upon arrival. Tea, coffee and sweet treats in kitchen. Amazing attention to detail in decor/styling. A lot of thoughtful touches show throughout. All the creature comforts, amenities and facilities you'd need. Terrific views, particularly from kitchen and upstairs. Pretty much everything to feel genuinely at home away from home. Most at ease and relaxed ever felt staying at a property. Wish we could've stayed longer. 😀

The accommodation was fantastic. It was located in a quiet area with great views of the seaside, and still close to the city centre and shops. All rooms were very clean, comfortable and had a lot of character which made for an enjoyable stay. It is clear that a lot of care and effort had gone into setting up the home for a pleasant stay, especially after day-long road trips to other parts of Tasmania. All facilities (cooker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine etc.) also made our stay a lot more convenient. The host had provided all necessary essentials and also items needed for small children such as a high chair and safety gates. Hope to be back again!

There was everything that we required to make our stay exceptional. The total package made for a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday and I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Devonport, Tasmania.

The wrong key lock code was provided by Booking.com but owner provided correct one. As elderly Travellers the access to beach and walk was very steep and difficult.
