A charming cottage ideally located to Morpeth village. Wonderful pet-friendly accommodation, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with thoughtful touches like fresh bread and snacks from the lovely owners - perfect for a short getaway!

Everything about Elendar Morpeth was fantastic. We stayed for a few nights while attending a sporting event in Maitland for our kids. We found this property to be just perfect for us with everything we needed for the weekend! It was in such a lovely quiet area whilst still being nice and close to Maitland. The house is within very easy walking distance of all the little shops in Morpeth (which had everything we needed over the weekend). All of our communications with the property owners were great - they were so extremely helpful and friendly and more than happy to answer any questions we had. The house itself is so well set up with so many thoughtful little touches designed to make the guests stay that bit more comfortable. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderfully supportive hosts that solved any issue, big or small, quickly and with a smile. Could not be faulted. The accommodation had everything we needed and it was all beautifully presented, homey, comfortable and clean. The location was also great with the main street of Morpeth a short and easy walk away.

Only thing on my wish list would have been air-conditioning in the room where the TV was. I can imagine staying at this property again in Winter, and enjoying the back lounge area lots more.

I chose this property knowing Morpeth, knowing where I wanted to walk to and from. The location is brilliant for heading to Morpeth Common, for popping to The Commercial (pub), an easy-flat walk to Swan Street, and down to Queens Park Wharf to walk parallel to the river. Morpeth has a lovely mix of shops and almost all are well worth a browse. I have never escaped Morpeth without spending on clothing, homewares and greeting cards. The property has off street parking and would be extremely easy for all travellers from other parts to find. I was happy with the kitchen, glad to be able to easily prepare meals via a full, working, kitchen (as well as being able to easily reheat any thing purchased locally, or that was delivered). Very good fridge; super important in very hot/humid weather to be able to cool things, and keep perishables AOK. I was really happy to be able to check-in early, after arriving on a train from Sydney, on a very hot day.

The finer touches in the house to make it feel like home. Suzanne and Andrew left local sourdough with home made jam and butter as well as other goodies for us upon arrival which was a much anticipated surprise.

Zilch!

Nice goodies pack on arrival. Excellent location, only a short walk from the main street. Lovely homey feel inside. We had some close encounters with Bower Birds and Tawny Frogmouths that were not a bit afraid of us.
