Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only 1 slight glitch - only 1 lil soap sachet 4 2 x guests - small thing - we brought our own so no fuss - but 1 does expect 2 for 2 x booked guests !! - More than sufficient 4 other environ friendly toiletries & welcome hot drinks complimentaries provided - !!

Could hear people in other rooms nearby. Coughing, talking and upstairs people walking about. Restaurant not open for dinner every night

Shower leaked water on to the bathroom floor.
Close to AFL. stadium so we could watch a game. The hotel restaurant had excellent food and service. Late checkout helpful.

Unfortunately, our air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It wouldn't warm up the room which was very chilly, the air remained cool no matter what the temperature on the panel said.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room nice and quiet. The location of the property was great for where we needed to be every day - Carrara Indoor Stadium.

I was travelling with my teenage son for sport, and we were given a room with a double bed (which would not have fit us) and the staff graciously moved things around to provide us with a room with 2 single beds, which made out stay very comfortable.

Should have an exhaust fan in the showers. Bugs will begin to grow otherwise.

we had taken some cake and biscuits to have with our coffee so could have done with couple small plates ( even saucers for cups ) to save crumbs .also another chair room was a room for two so two chairs for table . Wasn't deal breaker though . Big concern was shower room no where to put toiletry bag except on top of loo which meant clothes on floor which got wet .Had incident with shower put mat down to step onto after shower but door opens outwards so mat obviously moved with the door which i hadnt realised .Door to shower not flush so water seeps out into bathroom floor (which is why clothes were wet on floor ) as i stepped out i went flying on wet floor saved myself on basin .Bit scary as im just recovering from double Knee replacements !! would have mentioned it at reception but we checked out when no one was there and couldnt wait around . Also seems sad that bathroom is gorgeous but doors on cabinet on wall are old and grotty so like an unfinished job which is a shame. Light in alcove for kettle flickered all the time when making coffee so not sure if just a bulb job or what . None of these things were deal breakers . wasnt cheap for one night but i think a longer stay in summer would probabaly use gardens and pool and sports centre to make cost appropriate .
we didnt have breakfast .Location was perfect for us as we had an event at staium around the corner which meant we could walk there and back .room was beautiful looks newly refurbished bed very comfy .Hotel quiet and friendly .

They put two beds together which was a little uncomfortable but it was manageable.

The rooms were quite small so I wouldn't like to have a long stay. The bathroom was really tiny.
We only stayed for one night. Hotel was modern and clean. Bed very comfortable. The price was good. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was good and reasonable priced.
