Lovely host. Beautiful architecture, exceptionally decorated with a glorious outlook to the guest’s private garden. Well stocked for food supplies. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedlinen.

Elm Cottage is gorgeous, and possibly the best way to see Oatlands. I did not meet Rhonda but we exchanged messages. Although I travelled in winter, I enjoyed the serenity of the gardens while enjoying a morning coffee.

We had a magnificent stay at the Elm cottage. it is beautifully appointed nest in a secret garden. We greatly appreciated the lovely produce available to make a simple and delicious pasta dinner. This hearty space significantly added to our experience of Oatlands.

Everything. So happy we found this accommodation. Gorgeous french styling. Lovely breakfast options. Even a pantry option to purchase if you want to stay in. Rhonda is lovely and has a gorgeous clothes shop 😍

As we were travelling longer than a weekend getaway we had big suitcases and the stone driveway and paths were no good for suitcases.

A lot of effort has been made to recreate an authentic French Provincial cottage in Oatlands. Lovely gardens, very good facilities a wonderful getaway for a short stay. Thoughtful provisioning provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Quite cosy for 2 people. Plentiful supplies provided for cook your own breakfast. Lots of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Within walking distance of all sights & eateries in Oatlands

The cottage is beautiful, we stayed here 2 1/2 years ago and when we planned a return trip to Tasmania we knew we wanted to stay here again if possible. The cottage has so much charm and personality and we enjoy Oatlands, it’s a beautiful place.

Beautifully decorated with amazing details. It had everything we needed for our stay. And the gardens were such a delightful bonus. The owner was very helpful and gracious.

I agree with previous guests that the enormous array of greenery on dining table meant you really couldn’t use it for dining. It would be better to just have a small vase of flowers or nothing at all. Added to this was another large arrangement of dried flowers at the window in the bedroom, covered in cobwebs and dust. Not good for allergy sufferers and it also obscured what would be a lovely outlook to the garden. Get rid of both of these and the place would be perfect.

Very good breakfast ingredients and available ingredients for evening meal.much appreciated as no eateries open on a Tuesday night. Beautiful garden to sit out in for meals

Nothing about the accommodation. Town is a bit dull but enjoyed the antique store. It is a good location to check out the area though.

Possibly the best place I have ever stayed at. It's not 5 star It's 6 star. You can just see the attention to detail. Fresh flowers, such a beautiful place.

Not much room for luggage if you have a lot But everything was provided that you might need

A gorgeous and very stylish 'barn' accommodation with delicious breakfast (self-cook) choices and an array of food/drink choices to purchase. The surrounding garden was stunning and we loved the chooks.

The large containers of fresh foliage looked wonderful but the flat tops of the chest and table would have been more useful to us (for chargers, small bags, books etc.)

The French provincial furnishings were delightful. The bed linen was wonderful to sleep in. The garden was beautiful and it was lovely to sit out there in the afternoon reading and watching the chooks. Provisions for breakfast, etc were very thoughtful.
