How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The whole stay at the apartment was great. It was in a perfect location to everything. Had an IGA downstairs and a little cafe for breakfast. Michelle was an excellent host and her apartment was awesome with great views

Michelle was very accommodating to our needs. Very friendly and happy to answer our questions around public transport, various city locations etc. Top notch accommodation with all the facilities you'd wish for for a comfortable stay. A home away from home.

Floor was not visibly dirty, but obviously my white Sox should considerable dirt. The rest of the apartment was extremely clean

The noise from the bar at the end of the block was a bit loud on Friday and Saturday. Noise suppression devices might be helpful if someone is a light sleeper. If you are traveling from outside Australia, you will want to think through how you’ll handle the AUD500 deposit and return.
The apartment is beautiful— spotlessly clean, quite new, big bathrooms, very well equipped, lots of light. The location was very convenient to the main attractions of Adelaide. The parking was a great convenience. And, the fact that the apartment comes with so many amenities, such ad indoor pool and library, would be really useful for a longer stay.

Michelle's apartment met and exceeded our expectations. Was in central location, very clean and tidy with quality furniture and finishings. Also close to shopping and eateries. Michelle warmly greeted us and provided very detailed tour of the facilities available to us. It was the little touches which made it like being at home - fully stocked kitchen cupboards, bathroom toiletries, spare towels including ones for pool, some pantry items. We highly recommend this apartment and Michelle as a host and look forward to staying again if the opportunity arises.

We were told that the power might go out, and unfortunately it did a few times, but nothing major.
It's location is very convenient. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. Love the cute look of the place and the kitchen is fully stocked. Coffee pot machine is a good plus.

Only the late night crowd noise from the Cumby on the Saturday nights, only an because I like to sleep with window open.
Loved the newness of apartment & the modern decor. Had everything we needed. Loved that the 2 bedrooms were separated with own bathroom for 2 single travellers who have different sleep times. More than one TV. Loved the sitting room set up with TV which I had use of outside bedroom 2. Location was easy to walk to all locations within the city.

There were 4 of us and only a 3 seater lounge but a 8 seater dining table and 4 TV's The location wasnt exactly CBD and so it was fair hike or taxi to get around The pillows were too hard for our liking. Michelle wasn't very nice to us upon arrival regarding extra costs for deposits she said we hadn't made. Our travelling companions were taken aback by her attitude and abruptness and thought this could of been discussed in the unit rather than in public areas of the units. It was a mistake on her part.
