Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It would have been nice to have a separate toilet. Or at least a lockable door into bathroom.
The Jacuzzi and outdoor area was great. The layout of house was good.

The neighbors are old retirees and HATE any noise whatsoever. So many rules have been implemented but the neighbor still complained about us talking (softly). Even yelled at us over the fence just after 9pm on a Saturday night for talking.
The property was gorgeous, very clean too. Jacuzzi was absolutely fantastic!

We booked this Airbnb specifically as it has a hot tub and felt we paid a premium for this special extra. I messaged the owner to let them know we definitely wanted to use it and they said it was on ready, we followed instructions to wait 5-6 hours for it to heat up however it remained cold the whole time so we couldn’t use which was a huge disappointment.

Spa bath/ jacuzzi took a while to heat up and we ended up not using it all together.
The serenity and quiet. The house was clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel at home. The master bedroom matress was the most comfortable 👌.

The property could have been a lot cleaner, the outdoor area floor was dirty and we ended up cleaning it ourselves. The oven was filthy inside we were reluctant to use it. Cobwebs everywhere, the floor needed vacuuming when we arrived. The pots were also dirty we had to wash them before use. There was no tin opener, not enough pots and pans, nowhere near enough toilet roll for four people for a week, the BBQ was also quite dirty. Appreciate the spices and seasonings in the cupboard but they were so old and caked together they should be thrown out. I just think for the price this place should have been a lot cleaner.
Location was great, 15-20 minute walk to the beach or a quick drive, lovely surrounds and easy to find. Great set up for a family, comfortable beds, handy to have laundry facilities, good outdoor area and indoor entertaining area. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Aircon in the master bedroom was so handy and we loved the shutters in the bedrooms to keep the light out for those lazy mornings. Communication was great and check in was very easy.

Nearly everything. The place is dirty and dusty and was superficially cleaned. There were several indoor plants that had dead and dusty branches, under the pots full of debris, dust and cobwebs. The heating/cooling units on the walls and floors are evidently dusty with cobwebs all over the units, the bathroom bin was fitlhy after we lifted the bin liner to put out in the outside bin, it was disgusting. The dusty place had triggered asthma all night. No light at the front of the property so unlocking the key to get I. Was a nigh are. The uber delivery was late because they couldn't find the place as it was so dark, the food was cold. The owners live in the back of the property. Not a single box of tissues. We paid $701 (discounted by booking.com) for two people for one night stay and the condition was so poor. The couches need cleaning. Seriously cobwebs on walls, curtains have never been trimmed and unsafe for kids, also filthy. All windows sills and doors have not been cleaned in ages. Customer service is so bad. Spend your money elsewhere, we will not return to this place. I have photos available which this site won't let me upload.
The beds were comfortable enough.

Loved this property! so cute and also extremely clean and it was one of the best ones we stayed at down in the Mornington Peninsula! The Jacuzzi was also really amazing! Close to the rosebud vicinities and only about a 10 min drive to go to our hot springs experience

The neighbors were horrible.
I really liked the cleanliness of the house and the outdoor areas. The little gifts and notes on arrival were a really nice surprise.
