We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyOk guys, hear me out. I also didn't pay much attention to reviews, but please, DO NOT book this place. This place is an absolute shithole, it's dirty, I'm sure they never clean it, it smells real bad because the owners (who live there, so this is another reason to not come) smoke inside and cooks whatever weird sort of animals. This place is also not safe, the owners started a fight with another couple because they drank a little bit of their milk. They asked them to pay 100$. Can you believe it??? I was supposed to stay here one week but I only lasted one night. When I finally got my refund, they started asking me money using every sort of lies. They said I stole their towels and asked for $50!!! They kept texting me and threatening me for a whole week, swearing and calling me a thief. Even if I wanted to steal from them, what should I steal from their shithole??? Maybe just the cat, poor baby. The owners do not even speak a word of english, yet they live and pollute Australia. It was so so hard to communicate with them. They were constantly threatening me, it was scary and unsafe to be here. They hosted an homeless couple and a junkie one, I though I was going to die that night. PLEASE DO NOT COME, SPEND A LITTLE MORE MONEY BUT SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!

Australiavery very disappointing experience. the room was putrid!! stains all over the bed, floor wasn't even vaccumed and was so dirty it made our feet black. room was crawling with ants, we were given a towel with MOLD on it, and cigarette ash has been left in the drawer. the bathrooms and the house in general was a pig sty. we didn't trust it enough to even shower during our stay. advertised online as a "hotel" when it's actually an airbnb.

Romaniathe most stinking and miserable place I could see. I arrived at the location and when I saw how filthy it was and what a bad smell it was, I immediately asked the owner for the money. He spoke very badly and refused to talk to me. This place was full of homeless people, when I walked a little to see the kitchen, they looked at me like they wanted to kill me and rob me. Avoid this place if you want to stay alive. I immediately ran away from there to save my life and lost the money I paid for 5 days even though I didn't get anything back. This place is a house of horror!

AustraliaThe property is in bad condition and unhygienic. Toilets were not clean, it was clogged after just one flush and was leaking. The rooms had musty smell and linens too. The property owner was rude and keeping an eye on us all the time. We talked with her daughter over phone as the owner was not able to communicate in English and we asked her to cancel our booking without any charges because of health issues and she agreed to refund. But later she does not respond our calls nor refunds us. Moreover, It is not the same as in the picture which was advertised. It’s a false advertisement.

MalaysiaFirstly, the location that was given was not the right location, we had to follow a man who wouldn't speak english and used google translate to communicate instructed us to follow him which we did. And left us the Key, the rooms were smelling of Vomit, not clean, the toilet was dirty, had dried stains and smelled so much. We tried contacting the owner but no response so I called Booking.com, they were not helpful as the owner later contacted me and said he will change the place, but later the owner massaged Booking.com saying that i have agreed to something which I have no idea as the owner never got back. It was a waste of money, and I would blame Booking.com and I would never trust them, how did they let this property available? Just taking money and scamming customers. Worst 7 days of accommodation I had so far.

The pictures make it look nice, but trust me it is so bad. My husband and I will never be returning again.
