Beautiful location with tennis court and outdoor pool. Exciting to see kangaroos in the morning and evening. Hosts were lovely. Price of the accommodation is very reasonable. Lot of plants and trees, very peaceful.

Fernleigh was a peaceful place to stay for our long weekend. We loved our country stay, kangaroos right outside out window. It was a short drive down to the waters edge of Lake Eildon where my son was able to catch fish from the shore which he thought was fantastic. Accommodation was 15 minutes into Mansfield and would be perfect for family groups as each could have their own cabin. We utilised the bbq facilities under the pergola area for dining. There was a tennis court with rackets, pool and a basket ball hoop for the kids. Fernleigh has been around for a while so don't expect brand spanking buildings but they are clean comfortable country cottages that we can see the owners are upgrading where necessary. Beds were super comfy and TV reception was great.

No powerpoints in the second bedroom (or extension cords) meant we couldn't charge devices easily and harder to keep that room warn without overheating the main room.

I think for the money I’ve paid for the accommodation I don’t have anything I didn’t like about the property.

It’s very clean. I feel like I stayed in my grandma’s place. The place is very quiet and we are there for the snow trip since everything has been booked out In other place. I am looking for the chicken but unfortunately I didn’t saw them. I will come back in the summer and it’s a great and value for money place to stay.

The cottage was clean and the kitchenette was handy, well maintained and well equipped - which was a welcome surprise! The bathroom although old and dated was spotless. Loved the peaceful location and waking up to see kangaroos in the field at the back of the cottages. Loved to pat and say hello to the friendly sheep dog Ash!
