Cheryl, the receptionist and manager deserves 12/10. She takes the times to chat with the customers as if we're very welcome. 1 room: 3 beds, 3 desks, 4 chairs, enough outlets and a small fridge. Great ambiance to meet people. Great location and pretty secure. We receive a towel, utensils, plates ... at check-jn.

The lady at the desk was super nice

The room we were assigned smelled so badly and musty. The air con leaked a black liquid down the walls and a hole in the ceiling was covered with tape. Wasn’t a very safe feeling and ended up leaving

The location was good. There was a very nice mural painted on the upper half of the wall behind my bed.

The person took forever to come to the reception desk. I had to ring the bell multiple times. The lock was awkward - initially my key would not open it and I had to get another key. I had no idea that there were no towels in the room, so showering was awkward.

The hostel said it was open at 8am however we were stuck outside waiting until around 10am and then a member of staff was very strange and unapologetic and started emotionally unloading on us. The kitchen was not very clean. Rooms could do with an update as well as the bathrooms

Needs some renovation, some rooms have no windows, people in common area had a party so it didn’t feel too safe the night I stayed there.

Arrived at 5 am - no night staff - had to wait outside door . Stated opens at 8 am - nearly 10 0 clock before anyone arrived to allow luggage retained.

Super comfy bed and they gave me a towel too! Room was cosy with lots of outlets and a fridge in the room itself which was super helpful. Nice balcony area to hang out in too (though it was technically a smoking area, so it smelled like cigarettes depending where you sat). Friendly person at the front desk and super easy check-in and check-out.

Wifi was only available in the kitchen and lounge area and sometimes didn't work for a few minutes here and there. Kitchen felt dirty and was a little difficult to use. Room walls squeaked when you opened the door to the room, so had to be extra careful to be quiet in the mornings.

There was no window in the room, so no chance to get air in and it wasn’t clean.

There was nothing I liked.

Where do I start…? I arrived late at night, doors were closed - absolutely no sign of life! NO number on the door and there was no information on when the doors closed on the booking site I booked through. The room had a musty smell to it, I dread to look in the bathroom!

Been to 40-50 hostels the last 8 years. This is the worst I've stayed in, would rather sleep under the bridge next time. Stayed here twice never again 🤮, Black mould in Air-conditioning (health hazard), rooms smell extremely bad like dead animal, bed sheets stained, paint and render is falling of the walls, good luck to sleep in case it rains noise, staff seems quite friendly but bring heaaaps of time she does rather chat to her friends on the phone/private instead of serving costumers and seems to not care about it (happened twice to me), bathroom old and small, kitchen stoves are from 1720, building needs renovations urgently !!!
