Stairs. One of the group has bad hips so was a shock to have 2 flights if stairs and the massive internal stairs. Sqeaky doors. Also quite noisy at night. A man was coughing in next unit.kept me up all night. Also indigenous sleeping on bench in foyer and was there all night drunk and foul language

This property matched or exceeded our expectations, so nothing to complain about.

Awesome amount of space in 2 bed apartment. Location allowed for a pleasant stroll back from the esplanade after dinner. Air conditioning (especially in lounge) was really good. Pool area was pleasant. Furnishing was probably what you expect at this price level. Well equipped kitchen.

We thought the apartment should have been cleaned at the same time the linen was changed. The linen is getting a bit old looking.

We had a fantastic view of the pool area & loved sitting on the veranda eating breakfast & having afternoon drinks etc. The reception staff were very helpful & nothing was a problem. A big thank you there.

The pool was okay but the hot tub was warm if that. No elevator/lift and we were given the top floor for my 72 year old mother to climb steps with her walking cane.

When I arrived there was a long hair on each body towel and dust in a variety of corners in the apartment.

Was a bit more worn down than expected.

Appliances brand new, nice to be able to cook yourself some nights. Looked and felt clean, nice and very helpful staff. 10 min walk to city centre, and 25 min walk to restaurants at waterfront. Location was fine, especially if you have a car.

There is no lift at the property and we were on the second floor so we found it a bit tiring carrying up bags and shopping.

Location was very central to Cairns city and esplanade, you could easily walk around to shops and restaurants. The pool looked lovely though we didn't swim. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed ie full kitchen, balconies, lounge area, aircon. The property is very secure with electric gates for both pedestrian and vehicle entry. The communication with the property and the staff on check in and check out was excellent.

Excellent size bed (KS), but could have been a bit softer. Pillows excellent. Other than that nothing

Unit was a good size, comfortable couches, not far to walk into town, washing machine and dryer worked well. Walk in Shower. (2 bedrooms - 2 bathrooms) Good size kitchen and fridge. Secure car park, easy to get in and out. (We stayed on the first floor which was fine - no lifts need to carry your own luggage up)

It was slightly further from central Cairns than I was expecting. Find for me waking in and out of town but my mother found it too far.

The location is further from the shops and town centre than I hoped but not far to walk.

We stayed 2 weeks at Getaway on Grafton and we were very surprised to receive an email while we were staying there. The email advised us that Once the teabags and coffee sachets were used we should go to a shop to purchase more ourselves. Plus as we were there for 2 weeks and there were 3 Adults once the 2 toilet rolls were used we had to go and buy more. I feel the apartment we stayed in needed a good spring clean the louvre blinds and ceiling fans were all very dusty.

The only issue was the room was on the 2nd floor and motel didn't have a lift. But will request low floor next time.

The Town house was a great size, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. The staff were very helpful. Walking distance to esplanade, restaurants, markets and shops.
