How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower head!!!. this room had 2 shower heads, the rain shower head and the adjustable/hand held head. Sadly the adjustable head, better for women who dont want to get their hair wet, would not stay in the upright postion. It containly fell towards the wall which made for a very awkward shower. But the water temperture was good as was the pressure.
The room was warm and inviting, nice colours. The bed was hard but comfortable. Upstairs room with little to no noise from the outside. The loction for me was good

My only criticism would be location, great for an overnight stop, traffic and walkways to the ocean a bit awkward for travellers to navigate.
Facilities were great, nice comfortable room.

Lovely large room with a couch and coffee table, microwave, kettle, bowls, cutlery and a large comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious with great toiletries and hairdryer. Very clean and great parking. We have an electric vehicle and used the car charger (charged separately & will require your own cable). Location is very quiet, set back from a busy road. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The only thing we weren’t keen on were the beds. They were a bit hard for our liking.

The night lights was quite bright and the curtains need to be a better fit or have dimmed lights as it did keep the room a bit too bright when trying to sleep
It was close to were we needed to go and was quiet from street traffic

Perfect little motel for exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly, beds be comfy, the place was clean and tidy, and the shower is nice. We slept well and felt refreshed the next day.

The bed and pillows were not comfy, pillows were mostly soft not firm enough. And the bed didn't feel comfortable. More than one night's sleep would not be too comfortable.
The place was clean, tidy and smelt nice. I It was great for a one night stay. It had plenty of towels and the soap and shampoo were great.

The beds were just so very hard and uncomfortable. There were 3 of us in the room and none of us slept properly. At one point during the night I did contemplate if it would be more comfortable to sleep in my car or on the floor. Quality mattress toppers on the beds would go a long way to improve the situation. For this reason alone, we would not stay there again. My husband likes firm mattresses, but even he said they were way too firm.
Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to move around. Nicely presented and freshly painted.

It is a typical on the road motel.....what's not to like. You know the aesthetic!
Clean, left a key out for a late check in, good hot water, comfortable bed in a central location to the motorway. Totally filled the bill for an overnight stopover.

The room was not soundproof and door felt flimsy. The stairs up to first level felt a bit unsafe and probably need a reno also car park quite small for modern days cars and utes
Room a decent size for 2 adults and 1 child, it was recently renovated and had everything we needed for the night. Staff member friendly on checkin

Really liked the aircon/heating - was a freezing night and the heating was very efficient and kept us toasty and warm. Was very quiet despite being just off the main road, and other guests were quiet Really liked the fresh, filtered (?) water in the glass bottle that was left out for us Also really liked the hand soap pump available - hate the little bars that most motels/hotels leave out Shower was nice and hot
