Very comfortable log cabin. Beds were comfy and the spacious living area and kitchen was well set out. There was a lovely balcony out front. Great to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Overall would highly recommend this place

Everything was absolutely peachy!

The house is nicely renovated, it is very spacious with a lot of appliances available. Normally you get the bare minimum in utensils and cookware, but we were very happy to discover that this was not the case here! A state of the art TV and a couple of board games was a bonus on the rainy days. The fact that we could bring our dogs was so nice, we all enjoyed great walks around Lorne.

Location was great, 10min walk to beach, 15 to town... along the beach. The kitchen facilities were superb, some of the detailed touches that an AirBnB type place usually lacks - this one has (including cheese knives, surplus kitchen towels and toiletries)! So well thought through for the perfect cabin getaway. Our family especially loved the boardgames after coming home from the afternoon at the beach and local market.

Whilst nice accomodation is an older holiday home like - some missing blinds/ broken curtains/ opening in wall between bathroom and living area. Can be quite drafty where windows not fully sealed however heating does work well once on. Just small things, overall was a very pleasant winter getaway

Great location, very quiet. Good size kitchen, accomodation felt very roomy. Lots of thoughtful inclusions like gladwrap/ sunscreen/ paper towelling/ lots of clothes hangers. Also lots of crockery and cutlery. Easy walk to the beach and local shops. Visits from kookaburras and kangaroos to the front door

Great quirky log cabin with wonderful veranda. We had some amazing wildlife visiting including cockatoos and parrots. The cabin is spacious and well equipped and within walking distance if the beach. Fantastic experience!

No dishwasher or air conditioners in the bedrooms for summer. Lovely warm oil heaters in the bedrooms which were greatly appreciated in the winter. We didn’t like that hardly anything was open especially at night for dinner. Indian, Pizza, Noodle Bar and fish and chips were the only things open. Even the pub was closed!! We will return but perhaps in the spring or early Autumn. Otherwise we had a lovely time and amused ourselves.

When we first arrived the property felt a little gloomy and cold inside. It obviously doesn't get much natural light inside. Although a sofa, dining table & chairs were provided on the veranda, we never really found a "sunny" place to sit for a couple of hours.

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equiped and the property was spacious. The property was close to the main town and in a good location.

For us, no real privacy outdoors on property. Looked over by big house at the back ment blinds down all the time. ....also overlooked front and side so no real private place to relax

Place is close to Lorne town which is great. Clean and comfortable and love the decor. Complimentary bottle of wine and double choc timtams on arrival.. nice touch.
