Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Australia- No elevator, walking up & down three flights of stairs with heavy luggage was not pleasant. - The “hot air” from the couch filled the whole apartment space for the first couple of hours. It was an unpleasant heavy smell. A leather or well wrapped couch would’ve been better. - The shower door was ridiculously small. I & my group fitted fine but I fear for other people who book under you guys. The motel should warn people who are a bit wide that they won’t be able to shower there. I’ve had a fair share in staying at motels & this was the first motel that presented a “size” problem.
The modernness of the apartments. Has everything needed for a decent stay.

AustraliaThe hot plates were rusty, the gate wouldn’t open one night and I had just bought my husband back from dialysis. We couldn’t use our deck as scaffolding appears one day and then we were in a construction site. Ben went out of his way to help us. I won’t stay there again

United KingdomOur room key also opened the main door to reception after hours which meant all the keys opened that door so they were all the same so any room key would open any room? So didn't feel secure, it was a long walk in the heat to the centre although there was lots of buses around.
The apartment was adequate and equipped with everything we needed the pool area was small but very relaxed with a fridge to store drinks etc. And comfy chairs ashtrays so you could smoke the guy on reception was nice and helped us with our luggage .

AustraliaThe apartment has a number of reasonably major maintenance issues, did not present at indicated on Booking.com and certainly was not worth the money we paid for it. These issues included: - The a/c in the main living area was missing its directional flow fins and covers exposing a black interior. - The apartment had a musty smell to it. - The bath tub had a large split in the bottom of it running legthways. It was covered with tape which appeared to be in place so when you stand in it you don't fall through and to avoid water pouring through the split into the ceiling of the apartment below. When you stand in the bath to have a shower you could not avoid standing on the taped area which was unstable and spongey underfoot and felt like it would give way. This was just the worst of several cracks forming in the base of the bath tub. - The light switch in the bathroom was missing its safety plate, exposing electrical wires. - The toilet has recently had the incorrect lid/seat assembly fitted. This combo does not fit properly or safely onto the comode/cistern type in the bathroom. This causes the lid to fall as it can not open fully, often beating you to the toilet seat. This is extremely uncomfortable as it pushes into your back while sitting on the toilet and you have to try to reach around it to access the toilet paper. When attempting to stand the lid scapes into your back. It is clear that there is not a professional maintenance routine on this property and I would advise that it is not relet until all the maintenance issues are addressed properly. It certainly is not worthy of a Booking.com recommendation.

AustraliaGot moved to another room after the first night. Rooms have no noise insulation so you can hear the woman in the adjoining room talking on her phone all hours of the night, as if she were in your room and you can hear them going to the toilet. Beds are worn and sunken, quite uncomfortable.

AustraliaThis is not a 4 star hotel and does not reflect the pictures on the website. The hotel is run down and has a funny odour to it. We stayed for 6 nights and did not have one room service - had to empty bins ourselves, ask for clean towels, ask for coffee refills etc. The location is a little out of town but handy for anyone needing to visit the hospital. The staff were ok but definitely could have been more helpful. The place needs a refurb as we had tape holding the bath together, rusty old wall hangings in the bathroom, bedding was old and the furnisher is tired and worn looking.

AustraliaI arrived at the property at ~6:10 pm on a Monday. There is a fence and no way to enter the property unless you know the combination for a padlock. Nobody at reception either so I tried to shout to get someone to open but nothing. I had to wait for 20 mins until a lady entered with her car to get inside the property. At the door of the closed reception office there was a paper sign providing three phone numbers. The 1-800 number provided is out of service. The local number provided is for the office (which was empty so didn't help). The mobile number provided was not answered. After more frustrating time trying to figure out what to do a resident passed by and told me that there was a box where I would probably find my keys. He was right. I got the key and a 1-day password for the WiFi in an envelope. No one had told me about the procedure or sent me an email to let me know that the reception would be closed. The next day I mentioned the situation to the person in reception and he just told me that I should had called them. The fact that none of the phones were usable did not matter to him. I also had to pick my daily WiFi password every morning and sometimes there would be nobody in the office and the manager would not pick up his mobile phone (wait 20 mins....). The hotel has free undercover parking and the instructions say that you will be provided a remote to open the gates but it is not true. When I asked for a remote in reception they told me that there was none. The hotel is really far away from the city center although there are some restaurants around. Overall, not a nice place with not a nice management. You will be better off paying little more and staying in a real hotel in the city center.
The room was big and the internet was fast. That is pretty much all I liked.
