We felt a little put off when we asked at reception about where to find our booked kayak tour next day with another company and weren’t given any info but just told ‘we offer our own tours here’, even though it was only just down the road (we in fact got a bit lost trying to find it, which was our fault for not reading the instructions properly, but it seemed a little strange to be given no info, even if the other company is seen as a rival - their ethos seems very similar). Other than that we had a wonderful time!

We loved the setting, the wildlife mingling so easily with the human visitors, and the paperbark glamping. The Restaurant was great too.

It was extremely cold in the tent during July. The bedding was not sufficient for such cold temperatures. Was very difficult to sleep it was so cold. A big duvet would have been great. WiFi was really bad and slow. Lighting in tent was weak.

Seeing the kangaroos was amazing. Hot showers. Hiring a kajak and going on the lake was a magical experience

No lighting at night around our glamping tent, it was dangerous, there are lights there but not in use, I was informed the park rangers will not allow it in that area. If this is for the benefit of the kangeroos I understand but if I hadnt have my phone torch I wouldn't have safely made it back!!

The location is outstanding, a fantastic experience to be surrounded by kangeroos.

We had planned to cook for ourselves but the kitchen was not great. A lot of similar properties we visited had plates, cutlery etc to rent but they don’t here so unless you have your own you’ll need to eat in the restaurant on site.

Nice location in nature but would probably not choose the wilderness tent again - so cold at night. Plus the kangaroos hang out near the other tents. And if you’re going here to see the kangaroos on the lake in the morning you might be disappointed - large groups of people gathering on the beach have made them weary of coming out according to the staff.

    - The Camp kitchen near the powered/ unpowered sites didn't have working hot plates/ bbq, so we couldn't cook up there. - The Camp kitchen near the Wilderness tents didn't have any more washing detergent, making it hard to wash our greasy plates. - The bunkbeds are very uncomfortable. I honestly had the worst night's sleep on them. However, the king/queen beds were comfortable. It'd be great if you could equal the comfort of the single bunkbeds to that of the king/ queen beds.

    - The location is incredible and the Bistro, to our surprise and delight, pumps out delicious food. It's a great menu and really very delicious. - We loved how there were fire pits outside every tent, and the tents itself were really well equipped. It had everything we needed.

Would be helpful to offer some sort of shuttle / taxi service from Noosa, particularly as I found the staff to be quite unhelpful when I asked for some assistance

Amazing view of the kangaroos, and a really nice quiet and relaxing stay, loved having individual decks for the glamping pods

The only slightly negat8ve was the wait time to collect canoe/kayak if hiring. The food is slightly pricey but it is delicious!

The camp kitchen was not large enough for all the people staying there. The Paperbark name is confusing. Dont worry tents are made of heavy canvas. Could be better on the eco credentials like not giving plastic shampoo sachets, not giving tablets of soap that just get wasted, being off grid for electricity generation and clearer signage on the recycle in the kitchen.

Loved the Paperbark glamping tents. Really comfy bed, great bathroom, lots of space, good deck, good sized fridge in room. Seeing the roos so close by was an exceptional experience.

The safari tents have their back to the parking and road, so early morning (5,6 am) people are starting driving which is very loud in the tent. The fridge in the kitchen was below standard and very smelly…

The safari tents were very comfortable, with a fan, light, power points and a nice veranda with table and chairs. The toilets and shower were close by and clean. There are a lot of trees around so you can get shade and heaps of birds and other wildlife.
