Great location. Good rooms.

Lots of friendly kangaroos roaming, great little community shops and places to eat, great accommodation

More firewood

It had a log fire and it was reasonably priced

Decor is outdated, furniture is very basic, cleanliness was just ok, basic kitchen items could be supplied eg potato peeler, steak knives. Kitchen sink didn’t have a usable plug.

Clean close to shops and spacious

Shower needs a shower screen or curtain water goes everywhere when trying to take a shower

Wood fired stove

The cost of firewood for each day with only a small amount being given. It should have been complimentary as stated on the note on the side of the fridge! No heating in the bedroom.

unit was a great space plenty of room and lovely views. wood heater was great also. need to bring your own wood though. some can be purchased for reception.

The hot water/heat pump unit outside was a bit noisy and it ran all night. like to sleep with the window open so it woke me a couple of times.

Wonderful new cabins, there is always Christmas vibe.

In the morning cockatoo opened a trash bin and teamed up with kangaroo to throw trash all around

Great quiet place , beautiful scenery, plenty of things to see and do... The log cabins had everything you need to enjoy your stay, we had a spa cabin , the fireplace was lovely to enjoy on a cool night, shower water pressure was awesome.. would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.. check in and out was very easy..

I booked 3 nights at this accommodation because it had a wood fire and I thought it would be lovely and cosy if the weather was cold/wet. On arrival, we were told we had to buy more wood if we went through the 6 small pieces of wood. This was not stated when booking. To make it worse, the only other heating was a split system so old, it did not adequately warm the cabin. I would not rebook for that reason.

Fire was good and roos out the back door were awesome!

Towels were stained and the bath was so grotty that I just used the shower. Staff were friendly, but said the general store was bad and drive 25 min to Stawell. Went to the general store the next day and it was fine, could have saved myself an hour.

Location is great. Cabins are basic but great for the location. Very clean. Great water pressure and nice to have a fire place. Kitchens are well equiped and baths are great. No smart tvs but that’s part of getting away right! Enjoyed the dvd collections.

Only small issue is that the reverse cycle heating units are loud outside the units. So much so that we turned ours off but could still hear the neighbours unit humming away. Not a deal breaker but something that should be looked into.

Lovely log cabin with excellent facilities. Excellent bedding and heating as location very cool at the time of year visited. A beautiful setting with views of the Ranges and surrounded by wildlife.

Coffee could have been better.

Location is very good for seeing kangaroo and Emu.

Prefer to have proper secure door lock.
