Hargreaves Cottage was perfect for a 3 night stay. It had everything myself and my two children needed. We were able to cook breakfasts & dinners in the kitchen, the beds were extremely comfortable and warm with the electric blankets, and the heater in the bathroom was perfect for those frosty mornings. It was a great base for our Bendigo visit. It had one parking space in the driveway and plenty on the street if needed. Close to the town centre and Lake Weeroona. The hosts left the lights and heaters on for us the first night when we were arriving late which was much appreciated. Thanks for having us!

The back of the house could benefit from a window to enable a view to the garden/trees/sky.

Great location. The house is extremely well appointed, with many thoughtful extra comforts included. The hosts were friendly and immediately available to solve a small problem that arose. Off street parking is a bonus and there is an excellent cafe just a few houses away.

Apart from having some problems with the heating unit in the lounge room, our stay was wonderful.

The cottage was very well presented, clean and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was excellent and details for checking in and key access were clear and easy. The beds were comfortable and had electric blankets as well as nice linens and phone charging stations next to each bed. The heating was on when we arrived which was appreciated.

Lounge room air conditioner was not warm enough and also needs heating in dining room and kitchen.

Great location to CBD and cafe across the road. Bedroom and bathroom heaters worked well.

At night found the overhead wall heater noise travels down the wall to head level - but can’t be helped and certainly doesn’t detract from what the property offer.

You can tell the hosts love the property and have put thought and detail into it. Lovingly looked after and a pleasure to stay in.

It’s position close to centre of Bendigo,the historic tram depot and a neighbourhood cafe with tasty breakfast food. A lovely small Victorian cottage in a nice residential area. It had all the facilities and despite the cold weather was warm and cosy.

Adorable, cosy cottage within walking distance to Art gallery, theatre, restaurants and tram. Beautifully decorated, excellent quality linen, everything that is needed is on hand. Check in was seemless, we arrived to a cosy warm house, as the hosts had turned on heating and lamps. The check out time of 11am was generous and we were offered an early check in as the house was ready. Highly recomend.

The heater in the bathroom/family room didn't seem to work (we made good use of the blankets in the family room). We were a bit confused as to why the TV wasn't working but then I checked the antae cable and that had been knocked out by the toy baskets being so close.

Gorgeous property with lots of character. Plenty of places inside and outside to relax and the beds were very comfortable. Easy access to locations around Bendigo too.

Beautiful little cottage with great amenities. Gorgeous bedrooms, comfy beds and lovely linen. with the added bonus of electric blankets for those chilly nights. Lovely pub within walking distance and a cafe just down the road. Great hosts, easy to communicate with and friendly. There is a little bit of road noise heard the bedrooms but it didn't wake us up. Indi (our dog) loved sniffing around the secure backyard.

Nothing that bothered us greatly.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location but convenient to the city centre. It has everything you need for a short - or longer - stay. The hosts are great - provided useful information about the best places to eat (and we managed to have a beautiful evening meal at one of them), local attractions and even a bottle of wine. We arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to check in early and even notified us as soon as the cottage was ready to check into.
