The social aspect is limited as hard to socialise. I would recommend activities or something to bring people together.

Nice room with a balcony. The common space were clean and have everything you need. It’s located just down the road from all the shops so everything is readily available. Short walk to marina/bus stop.

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is nice, good vibes. My dorm was a very large room with the bathroom cleaned every morning; Locker is just beside the bed. Excellent facilities overall.

I didn’t like that the AC was really low in the room, also the fact that guests need to do their own beds with the linens they leave at the bed.

Neither tin opener is in proper working order. Many of the cooking pans are tiered and have almost dangerously loose handles. (I forgot to bring a screwdriver) 🤷😆

The ease of checking in and especially the ease of bag storage before we checked in was excellent. The room and bed were very comfortable and everything was clean. An added delight was the balcony we didn't expect. With our own drying rack! Maintaining the yha ethos of a quiet safe space is definite positive, with bars, restaurants and party places near by, but just out of hearing range is the perfect balance.

If the room can be vacuumed once a day and the price can be lower that would be great.

The room is super big and we have our own toilet and bathroom. The staffs are welcoming and the place is very clean and generally quiet, which I loved so much. The room has balcony as well!

I had issues to get to Airlie because of the rainy season. That’s why I came one day later. I called them before and asked if I could move my booking or get a refund. But unfortunately they were not very customer-friendly! I had better experience with other hostels!

- the washing machine and dryer work with coins which is not convenient - only two sockets on one wall, the two beds on the other side don't have any sockets and have to rely on the socket in the bathroom next to their bed.(The manager told me that improvement will be made) - kitchen too small,.not enough tables - the morning call in all the dorms to warn people about the checkout time.. it wakes people up it's not nice

- central location - the guest shower and toilets that I could use when I arrived at 7am and needed to refresh my body because the humidity was killing me. - the lockers accessible for guest directly in the backyard without having to pay. - swimming pool. - good size of the dorm and nice balcony for each dorm. - air con works well
