World’s smallest fridge, no heating facilities to reheat anything.

Situated in the perfect spot close to everything, the brewery next door was a highlight, great beer and cocktails.

When checking in one of the staff was in a bad mood and made me feel uncomfortable. Could of just been having a bad day though. Would of been nice to be given small toiletry items that most hotels give you (shower cap, toothbrush, cotton earbuds, comb, etc..).

Location was amazing and the joint bar was a bonus. Crates made it a different experience with a cool vibe. Was perfect for me being solo.

Bathroom was a little on the small side. It wasn't an issue but may be for some.

The rooms were comfortable and modern. The small touches of free light breakfast, afternoon tea of cheese and wine and free coffee were a nice extra that added to our enjoyment of the hotel. The hotel is in walking distance to the ferry, attractions and restaurants. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The shower needs an overhaul.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The complementary cheese and wine at Calamity’s Rod each evening was a lovely touch. The Hougomont’s location is excellent.

Breakfast, we did not enjoy the coffee and the variety of food was lacking. The rooms were tiny and we did not have enough space for our clothes and luggage

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming… toaster Didn’t work so well and there was no cooked option… which for the price of the rooms was Disappointing.Also people working on laptops took up some of the breakfast tables instead of using the laptop shelf area provided for them. Also the rooms were a bit too small and compact For two people .

Location was good and convenient … just off The main st . …and they did a cheese and wine happy hour at the bar next door 5-6pm.

The friendly and extremely helpful staff. The proximity to all attractions, restaurants and activities. The breakfast and afternoon happy hour. We could not fault our experience.

The bed wasn't that comfortable and we heard noise from air conditioners and the bars outside which impacted sleep quality, but for how convenient the location was, the bar noises was to be expected.

The location was amazing and staff were lovely and checked us in early in to a better room than we booked. They made us feel very welcome and looked after, everything was clean and convenient. Would recommend.

Room noise can be an issue especially with the bar venue outside. So if you are a light sleeper keep this in mind. parking is limited so make sure you pre book

Breakfast exceeded expectations in that I only expected toast. There was cereal, fruit, yoghurt, 3 types of bread for toast, orange juice and coffee. Milk provided on request, water in room. Coffee in room not to my taste, despite it being a pod machine, but everything else was brilliant.

Very tiny rooms, need to review the glass bathroom concept or fully disclose prior to booking. Not very discrete for using the toilet or shower given the door didn’t seal and was see through
