Both rooms had double/queen beds. Traveling as a family with kids that don’t like to share a bed made bedding configuration difficult.

Through no fault of the apartments, we did not stay and booked alternative accommodation. We travelled with elderly family member who could not traverse the 4- 5 flights of stairs, with no lift it was impossible to stay. However, Unit 9, when we first arrived was very musty smelling. Sand all over the lounge, which is also heavily stained. No Air Conditioning. (With 80% humidity, this would have been very uncomfortable) Screens in the second bedroom were filthy. Cannot comment on the bed comfort as we did not stay.

The management have a policy of not doing a full clean between guests. In the notes you are given on checking in there is list of things they expect you to do. Obviously the guests before us didn’t do the list. Things like dirty dishes were just put back into the cupboard and dead cockroaches throughout the apartment. I don’t see how that should fall to the next person to fix or get charged a cleaning fee. The floors hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The toilet floor was sticky from not being cleaned properly.

The location is brilliant. The property itself is older but nice.

The front door lock was very tricky to open. It took several attempts unlock on numerous accessions.

The location is excellent. Great beach access and the shops and restaurants are close by.

Too many stairs, tight parking space and no central heating within the apartment. Had to purchase heater and flu medicines

The cleanliness, the view, the locality, staff were kind, nice hot showers at the end of long days, kitchen was adequate to be able to cook hot meals.

Only small thing was the bed was a bit too soft for our liking

Liked the decor, looked fairly recently renovated, had everything we needed in the kitchen, air con was good in the bedrooms , even had a guest Netflix account etc. The location was great although the carpark was very busy but didn’t really bother us.

Apartment was filthy. We had to wash dishes and cutlery. Tap in laundry hanging off. Flyscreens filthy. Big hole in one. Mould in crack on bathroom basin. No fans in second bedroom or lounge room. Hugh crack across shower screen. Stove was not able to be used due to rust and dirt. No lift in building. Washing machine case dirty and machine not working properly. Car park dark and difficult to see numbers on posts for appropriate spaces. Health department needs to inspect this particular unit and building.

Lack of a lift made access to the first floor apartment difficult. There was no mention of stair-only access in the booking information.

Dropping off keys on departure day was a disaster. We received a message the night prior to our departure day explaining that we could use the key drop box and a code was given. However the code did not work, we tried to leave the keys with shop owners near by as we were in a taxi and trying to catch a train. They refused so we called the office number and eventually someone was able to help ( it was a public holiday). The original code was incorrect and after a few attempts with different codes the box finally opened.

A little dated, could do with a bit of an upgrade. Aircon would be an added bonus for the bedrooms mainly. Airflow through the rest of the apartment was ok due to two of the balconies. Shams the price has almost doubled for next year otherwise we would have rebooked.
