We leave the air conditioner on low for your arrival, using the remote you can turn the air conditioner up to heat the suite to your desired comfort leval, if help was needed in setting the desired heat you could have called for help at any time. We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed our lovely gardens and found our classic cottages "very quaint" and with a "French look." We put a great deal of effort into creating a beautiful and peaceful environment, and your kind words about our outdoor spaces are truly appreciated. We are, however, genuinely concerned and sorry to learn that your experience with your suite did not meet your expectations. We want all our guests to leave feeling completely satisfied. Had we known of your concerns during your stay, we would have been more than happy to offer you an upgrade to another suite, as our priority is your comfort and enjoyment. We always encourage guests to contact us immediately if anything isn't quite right, so we can address it on the spot. The suite you stayed in, while our most compact and consequently our least expensive option, was indeed recently refreshed with new paint and furnishings. We also want to gently clarify that this suite does feature two glass entry doors and a full-size window in the bathroom, which are designed to bring in natural light. Our confirmation email clearly depicts the room including the bathroom and the windowed French entry doors. We are truly sorry that your visit fell short of the experience you anticipated. We pride ourselves on offering a tranquil and unique escape in the Barossa Valley, and we are disheartened that this was not your experience. Hi Lorna, It’s disappointing that you did not find the room to your liking however, the room is exactly as depicted on booking.com, including the sunken bath and shower so not sure why you were unaware of this. Our beds have been rated 9.2 out of 113 reviews. As for seating options, there are two occasional chairs and table in the room as well as a table and chairs on the verandah; also, numerous seating areas throughout the property ie gardens, BBQ area, lawns and pool area should you want a change of view! The suite you booked is our least expensive and smallest suite however that being said we have so many guests that have loved all it has to offer at it's price point. Our property continually rates at a 9-10 by our guests. I had also personally arranged early check in and very late check out to accommodate your personal situation. Best Regards Jerry
