Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower tiles were very slippery needed a nonslip mat. The smart TV was too hard to use and needed better instructions.
There were seperate areas in the lovely old cottage. The bed was very comfortable. The lounge room had comfortable recliners.

Nothing!
This cottage had everything one could possibly want! It was quiet! Very clean and tidy! Tea coffee, even a coffee machine but we didn’t use it, not being used to coffee machines, we didn’t want to break it. It was close to town, shops, restaurants and some attractions. The view from the cottage was stunning. We were informed by telephone that the weather wasn’t great and we might not be able to travel on our designated day. As we were already on the ferry a day early we were lucky enough to be able to go into the cottage that night. Well, when we arrived at the cottage ( after 6.30pm) we found the lights on, television on and even the heater was on! What a lovely surprise! So thoughtful! Thank you so much!

The cottage was spacious and had it's own private entrance and garden. The bed was very comfortable. It's located on the beach front and a short walk to the supermarket and local hotel. It's also and an ideal starting point to visit the N.P. and various parts of the island.

Couldn't fault it
Great location - lovely sea front walk into town about 5 mins away. Cottage had brand new kitchen, beautiful furniture & really comfortable bed. All the amenity anyone could want.

Although there was a dishwasher it didn't warrant us to use it as we ate out all the time. However there was no tea towel for us to use when just wanting to wash a cup, glass etc. so had to leave them draining in the sink. Also not a box of tissues which would of been handy! Lounge wound benefit from a reading lamp.
Very clean, tidy and spacious for a couple. Great that there was a washing machine and line to dry our clothes!

Wi-Fi very limited - drops in and out. Would have liked an oven in addition to the hob / microwave. Air conditioning in the bedroom would be nice. Needs some decent sized wine glasses.
The private nature of the cottage with its own parking space. Everything you would need for a self-contained / self-catering holiday. Great little dish washer and washing machine. Great private garden space.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to shops, eateries and foreshore. Thoughtful provision of facilities and supplies to make for a very comfortable stay. Great communication in the lead up and in the information folder at the premises. Layout and tasteful decoration of rooms give sense of being pampered home away from home.

Seabright garden cottage is in a lovely quiet garden setting. It has everything you need. We were there for 6 nights and found everything was there for our longer stay. Washing machine, AND pegs, comfy bed also. Could walk to jetty, tidal pool, and town centre. We highly recommend this delightful cottage.

The driveway entry/exit didn't have a slope on it all the way across and I miscalculated the drop when I backed out one time.
We had been travelling all over SW WA and Kangaroo Island was our last stop on the way home to Qld. It was bliss to have a while little unit all to ourselves. We had so much space, bed was really comfortable, heating, little kitchen and a washing machine/clothes line. It was in a very central location which meant I could walk to a whole lot of places in town.

Fantastic hosts, and great location; Seabright Garden Cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with an ocean view. This is a lovely spot to explore Kingscote and Kangaroo Island. We stayed 5 nights and highly recommend this cottage.
