There’s no breakfast provided, so plan ahead for meals. There's a cafe nearby but you'd have to travel to San Remo or Wonthaggi for breakfast/lunch For the price point, I did expect a bit more value, but the peaceful setting and proximity to the coast do add a lot.

stayed for a solo overnight getaway and overall had a good experience thanks to Tom! The property is in a great location — right next to the beach with beautiful ocean views, perfect for a relaxing escape. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and all equipment and amenities were clean, organized, and in good working order. Tom kindly allowed a late checkout at 11 AM, which I appreciated. Since there weren’t any other guests during my stay, I was hoping for a little more flexibility with a longer late checkout, but it wasn’t a big issue. If you're looking to unwind, this is a great place to just walk around the beach and watch the stars at night.

The owner/staff was very welcoming and accommodating, especially with our late check-in request. The room was spotless and warm, with direct views of the ocean and beach—perfect for a peaceful night’s stay.

Nothing we would return.

We really loved the welcoming friendly lady at the front desk when we checked in. The extra wide parking spaces were a big plus. The room itself was extra large and so was the bathroom. The whole place was extraordinary clean. It had a little bar fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, glasses and plates which was helpful. The beds were comfortable and there were various choices of pillows to use. The hotel next door was handy for meals as was the cafe on the other side of that for breakfast.

We both had some environmental allergies while in the room (maybe there was quite a bit of dust or pets in the past)

The shower temperature and water pressure was the best we’ve had in several weeks of traveling. The soaps/shampoo provided was also great.

Everything was pretty good - you can hear the live music from the pub next door but it finished at midnight and didn't overly affect our stay. much. The main heater didnt work very well but there was a smaller plug in heater that did the job.

We were a group of 4 and stayed in the standard family room. It was a little cramped with 4 adults and all the furniture but it wouldn't stop us from booking this room again.Location was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom wasn't clean when we arrived but staff were able to clean it quickly for us.

The “private courtyard” mentioned in the blurb was not private

We had an amazing meal at the hotel and breakfast at the cafe nearby . Was a lovely (short) stay. Probably would do an ocean view room next visit, but the room was good , good shower … “private courtyard” was the shared areas of all the back rooms/accommodation, so not a private space . Friendly people everywhere. And the beach exploring was exceptional

Surprised smoking was allowed and ashtrays were provided on front porches when units are so close to each other and some are directly opposite each other. We were unable to leave door open for fresh air due to cigarette smoke.
