We were a little disappointed that we were not able to borrow the surfboards as the reception staff said that we had to actually be staying in the resort. I had my niece over from the UK and she really wanted to try surfing. But it wasn't a massive big deal and not somthing that deterred our stay - we loved it.

The location was amazing. We had a dedicated parking spot under ground. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfy and the view was fantastic overlooking the beach. Bonus was having coffee pods for the coffee machine (thank you so much for that - made our day). Kalli was fantastic and was able to give us an early check in and a very late check out - thank you so much for your generosity.

Great location, spacious well equipped apartment, comfortable beds, fans in the bedrooms. Owner very responsive to messages. Right across the road from the beach. Close to shops. Nice touches included : beach towels provided, ice cube trays filled, cold water in fridge, small containers of milk, coffee machine.

The facilities pool, sauna and spa were not available in the complex. TV didn’t work and was advised reception not great in the area. Probably needs to update the TV. Ceiling didn’t in 2nd bedroom. Resort staff were using blowers machine every morning at 6.20am to clean the outside around the premises which made it noisy if you sleep with door open to hear the ocean.

Prime location and great large space for friends to share for a weekend away of relaxation. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking in. Host was very accommodating with extra touch for gift on arrival and provided compensation for pool complex under maintenance.

The apartment is great, loved everything about our stay however the bed in bedroom 1 could do with replacing. The mattress is sagging in the centre and was not as comfortable as we would like which is important for us.

Love the location to the beach, Main Street and the facilities. Everything is in walking distance.

There was mould on some of the windows blinds, the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, the TV didn't work and while bath, hand and beach towels were provided, face washers weren't.

The location, the size of the apartment, the beds were super comfy. Also the brand of body wash, shampoo and conditioner were good quality.

You can't get a better location for this apartment, it is right on the main street with views of the ocean, with easy access to the beach and shops/restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious, highly recommend!

the apartment was clean, comfortable and close to shops and restaurants. the view from the balcony was great and I couldn't fault anything. the location was excellent to explore the Great Ocean road and nearby towns. we went into the Otways and this was a pleasant surprise and worth a drive and see the waterfalls.

The place was wonderful! A few of the kitchen gadgets need updating as they are starting to look a little old. Would have been nice to have a smart TV or something to connect a laptop (HDMI cable or chromecast). All in all, it was a beautiful stay!

I stayed for two nights at this conveniently located spot and had a delightful experience. The central location was a real asset, with plenty of dining options just a short walk away. The highlight of the stay was definitely the balcony. The ocean view from it was fantastic, providing a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings.

Whilst the unit has a couple of TV's, the reception was terrible! In the evenings we were unable to watch TV when the kids went to bed, which was disappointing. This really needs to be fixed. Also, the Lorne Hotel can get a little rowdy and noisy at night, although this is no fault of Lorne Ocean Views.

The location was perfect as the beach is on the opposite side of the road and it is within close proximity to restaurants and cafes. The place is spacious and plenty of facilities are available on site - the indoor pool was great. We were lucky and had lovely weather but the indoor pool would be perfect if the weather was cooler.

The outside balcony is looking a bit tired and probably needs a bit of love. The access to the foreshore is a little bit of a walk down the hill - so going back with groceries is not advisable without a car :)

Great location, very spacious apartment, great views of the water. The hosts were super accommodating and we had a very relaxing stay. The resort itself has great facilities - the heated indoor pool was very welcome during the cold weather when we were there. The gym was pretty good too and sauna simply awesome!
