It was a shame that the restaurant was closed and the bed was a little firm for me.

Staff were lovely. Room was warm (gas fireplace) with an amazing view. Close to Woodend. Loved it!

The spa bath was fabulous, the location was fantastic, 8 minutes from the beautiful Woodend. The fireplace kept the room toasty warm. Would definitely stay here again.

Wifi would have been great, but we had enough phone reception to use our phone data so it was fine. The place is definitely dated, but we didn’t mind.

It had everything we needed for a romantic getaway. The spa in room was amazing. We enjoyed watching the football on tv from the spa with a wine. Amazing friendly service, clean, beautiful view. Exactly what we needed.

Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open but it was only a few mins drive to Woodend.

Stunning location and the view from the windows was exceptional. The heater was on so the room nice and cosy for our arrival. Amazing spa bath!!

The wear and tear is very visible. While everything was clean, you can see how old some of the infrastructure is (cracks, stains in grout, some broken tiles, scratched leather chairs). No wifi and no coffee machine.

Great location and value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice and clean bathtub. The room was quiet and relaxing. Good blinds, so the room gets dark. Kettle, microwave, mini fridge and some tea, instant coffee and chocolate, and sugar available. Main toiletries provided. The portable heaters provided to replace the out of order gas heater were good and kept the room warm.

The heater turned itself off on occasion, bit frustrating in winter, but not worth worrying about.

The spa bath & view were excellent. While it was close to the freeway, we couldn’t hear any traffic noise either.

The room is great, fantastic view and good facilities in the room (although with an in-room spa we could have used more towels which I am sure would have been available on request). We stayed in one of the pet friendly rooms and it was lovely and conveniently located. And the gas fireplace was divine.

Cold couple of days, the main room was very warm but bathroom was quite cold.

Receptionist was great and overall a very good value for money option. Nice view of the mountain and excellent parking.

It was advertised as a Spa resort. However, the pool, hot tub and day spa were not functioning. The restaurant was also closed. The noise from the Highway was noticeable.

The rooms very lovely and the bed very comfortable. I liked the fact that they had the heater already gong and the room warm when we arrived.

Beautiful spacious room. Spa and view was lovely. Fireplace added a beautiful ambiance to the room. Enjoyed some items from the mini bar. Loved that it was pet friendly.
