Parking was hairy. No A/C in the bedrooms, only fans (note for anyone starting in Summer). We did get evacuated due to false alarm in the middle of the night. Others said has happened a few times.

I was unaware when booking that our room would be in a different building all together. The building we were placed in was fine, but did not have direct access to the pool or other facilities of the Malibu apartments. The apartment was reasonably clean but paint was peeling from painted cabinetry and doors/arcs. There was a broom to sweep up after ourselves but no dust pan to pick it up.

The location was excellent! Beach views, access to shops, cafes, park, beach in minutes! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our little family of four.

We really enjoyed our stay in apartment number 5, the apartment was spacious and we had a lovely view of the beach/ocean. A few things we did experience however were being on the lower level of the apartment the noise of other guests disposing their rubbish in the rubbish shoot was disruptive and unpleasant. We were extremely happy to have such great access to the pool and BBQ area although this did mean that in the mornings we experienced the hosing down of that area. Although we know it needs to be done, we found this was uncomfortable when trying to enjoy our morning cups of tea and breakfast on our balcony. We also found the cleaning products used by the staff were a little overpowering but were grateful the facilities were clean.

The location was perfect and the views were amazing.

The apartment fridge/freezer and microwave had been wiped out with a strong smelling commercial grade disinfectant, previous guests had stored seafood in the fridge and the combination of the disinfectant and seafood odour was overpowering . We couldn't store food or use the ice we made as the odour tanted our food and ice in the fridge/Freezer. Jay kindly provided plastic ziplock bags and gladwrap etc to seal our food in which helped. Can I suggest using a low or non perfumed disinfectant in food storage areas in future. Extra blankets would be great too for the cooler bedrooms. Thankyou

Loved the location and the layout of our apartment we arrived to soft background music playing in the apartment and our view from the balcony was spectacular, the very helpful receptionist Jay was amazing with advice for visiting locations in the area and helping with a problem we had with our fridge, she went over and above to help us manage the problem, the apartment location was fabulous shops and restaurants were at our doorstep, we really enjoyed our stay.

The sunlight through the apartment was magnificent, view from the rooftop was also excellent. Very happy with the facilities, kitchen was well appointed. Comfortable furnishings. Location was great with superb restaurants very nearby.

Nothing really but….Dining chairs were very low for the table. Cushion wasn’t supported and could do with being replaced. Not a deal breaker I just sat on a lounge cushion

The living space would be a bit tight for 4 people though there are enough chairs and seating. Very little space in kitchen for your own food storage, but the benches are useful for this.

Position and view are excellent. Exit onto the street and you are in the middle of shops with multiple places for food and coffee and easy walk to supermarket. Bed large and comfortable with reading lights on both sides. Shower recess is good size and water is consistently hot. Kitchen is well equipped. Staff helpful. Lift was good.

Loved the location, the view and the convenience. The perfect spot for the kids and I to explore and get to different locations on the sunny coast easily. Ubers were fast and no problem.
