Very run down, needs refurbishing. Our biggest issue was the constant loud noise from the pub. Our room overlooked the town. Wardrobe space needs upgrade.

The kitchen area was a bit cramped and not as well laid out as it could have been (some cupboards were a bit hard to reach for short people).

Nice sea view from the room/balcony. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities expected from a Mantra apartment. Nice pool for a refreshing dip. Mantra is located close to Coles for easy shopping if self-catering, but also close to the backpacker/restaurant strip. Quiet rooms if facing the sea. Easy 10-minute walk to the marina area.

Air conditioning was absolutely horrible. Too cold and noisy. We froze in the Penthouse.

Separate key cards for the elevator & room entry made it a little tricky. Parking is $19 per day. More utensils and cookware (frypan, microwave dishes) are needed for self catering purposes. Hot water was not the hottest and the bathroom needs an update. Doors covering the washing machine & dryer made it awkward to use.

Very clean. Great supply of necessities was nice (shower gel, shampoo, dish detergent & clothes detergent).

Just like to say, if you book a room that was described as an apartment, there should be more than two wine glass and coffee cups, not everyone eats out every day couple of plates and bowls would be good.

Booked a one bedroom overlooking city. Room looked well worn and a bit smelly. I didn’t want to sit on couch. I won’t book this again nor recommend to my friends.

All good for what we needed

This hotel is perfect when visiting Darwin as it is central to the town and to the sea front. We stayed in an apartment and requested a harbour view which we got. The Reception staff were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Darwin. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay in this hotel when I visit Darwin again.
