Martinique is a small,friendly adult only holiday accommodation superbly located in the Main Street of Port Douglas and very close to the beach.Ken and Colin are exceptional hosts.They are genuinely friendly,especially helpful and go out of their way to make each guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible.This in turn contributes to a very memorable stay.The outdoor area is attractive and relaxing with water fountain,heated pool,beautiful garden,library exchange and the use of beach chairs.

The pool area suffers a little in that it is pretty shaded but still has a nice ambiance.

Terrific location, quiet end of the street, close to the beach. The hosts are great, very friendly and attentive. All facilities are in good order, though the property has a slightly 'tired', old-fashioned feel.

Martinique is very well located close to 4 mile beach and also the shops. My apartment was,as requested, on the ground floor at the rear of the complex which was nice and quiet. Wi fi was good.Everything was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of tea,coffee,milk in the kitchenette as well as shampoo,conditioner,soap,etc in the bathroom. The hosts Ken & Collin were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely spacious apartment, very clean and bright. Ken and Colin are lovely hosts that really look after their guests. They provided us with great recommendations and information about the place and nearly attractions. Everything is thought from spare sun cream, umbrellas for guests to use, beach chairs to borrow, books free to borrow etc. Fab location with cafes, shops and restaurants a short stroll away

This was a great place to stay. The location is especially good, easy walking distance to the main shopping / restaurant area but quiet as well. The room was very clean and comfortable with a generous amount of space. It was well equiped. You can make your own meals there if you like. The pool area was very attractive and well maintained. The host Ken was a very nice person to meet. He was helpful and informative about the area. He was very welcoming, friendly and jovial to talk to.

Nothing! Martinique is lovely! The only downside out of anyone's control is that there is construction work by the beach.

Fantastic location for the beach, shops and restaurants. Ken was amazing - he helped arrange a surprise for my husband. He also made great suggestions on places to eat and booked our trips for us as well. The room was lovely.

Air conditioner was in living room so if you closed bedroom off there was no AC in bedroom, just ceiling fan. Robes and body lotion would make this a true 5 star!

Great location. Ken and Collin, our hosts, were very helpful - gave us great restaurant recommendations. Great kitchen and separate dining/living room from bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Great shower. Quiet facility.
