Could definitely use additional block out curtains to further reduce outside light and noise. Other sources of noise & light could be minimised as well. While there was a desk with chairs, having a cosy seat with lamp would add to the comfort factor. Lower ground shower room requires mirror even though there is one over the basin in the toilet.

Room was generous, neat and tidy, fresh. Electric blanket and heater were appreciated. Location was good for getting to CBD on foot (when it wasn't raining, ;-) ) While I didn't meet the owner/operator, contact was helpful and responsive. The kitchen was functional although it wasn't clear what/where the "free" tea/coffee was.

It was raining most of the night. I was in Room 1B and there was water either overflowing or leaking outside the window creating a loudish dripping noise. Maybe this coudl be attended to.

It was a pretty good stay, a great place and would recommend it to anyone. Cause bathrooms are shared, my only complaint is that the bath mats got really wet and weren’t changed are dried. Suggest new types of bath mats that last a bit longer.

Stairs.. OMG. View was good from loft, but has a calf injury and the stairs were killer. Kettle in room, no other coffee/tea facilities so unnecessary. Cleaner there at 4 pm(outside the 10-3 blackout period) using both washing machine and dryer. I wanted to wash 1 shirt that got dirty in luggage, but had to hand washing in sink. Luckily there was a 2nd dryer.

Good facilities eg Kitchen etc. Was good having 3 bathrooms. Charging stations was great addition. Very clean.

Absolutely beautiful old sandstone building in great condition. Share bathrooms no issues at all, just up the hill from the rocks and Barangaroo, had a wonderful time.

We were on the third floor which was very hot, there was no air-conditioning only a pedestal fan. Not even a bar fridge to keep drinks or food cold. Only a communal fridge down four flights of stairs. Room was so hot and humid it was very uncomfortable and unfortunately trying to cool off in the shower wasn't worth it as the water pressure was terrible.

Thin walls all around (can hear plumbing from upstairs, discreet conversations and local traffic just outside and passing by). Shared bathroom that I used only allows one person at a time (which has shower and toilet). Better communication for first timers to advise where the other amenities are since I didn't want to venture up multiple floors to find out where everything was (I was on G, there were signs for the shared kitchen area on LG. so I assumed toilets and showers were somewhere up). Cooling/heating solution for the room may need an upgrade.

Room 1A is a big roomy space with a high ceiling, and had plenty of power supply options. Convenient location away from busy crowds. Less than 10 minutes away from Barangaroo Metro. Great place for visitors to stay while visiting and wandering Sydney (please be mindful since locals also live here) while being close to the action.

Plumbing problem on first floor. Woman assigning rooms doesn't read email. She thinks everyone uses WhatsApp. She doesn't provide phone number via email.
