How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our room wasn't cleaned until 3 in the afternoon each day. I asked if it could be done earlier as my husband suffers from migraines and needed to sleep in the afternoon. The room was cleaned once before 3 in the whole time we were there. Not good enough 😕

The check in process. We stayed in a suite,paid a price for this, no luggage ser vice was offered and no one showed us how everything in the suite worked. Disappointing..
Location was great, room was amazing in the lagoon suite. Property is conveniently located to most places. Pools were great..

Coming back from a whole day away from room at 3pm and room still not serviced. Would prefer earlier servicing if possible so can nap or get ready for dinner after 3 in the arvo.
Breakfast quality and staff on restaurant were excellent.

For the price of the room, it didn't even include breakfast! And for a casino, hardly any of the restaurants were open for a late lunch, it was frustrating

Location is great Some of the resort facilities were closed during our stay to private functions Our Breakfast was included in our stay but lots of spices added to food which was not always wanted only allowed to pick one dish off menu And one drink Some of the Staff in the restaurant for breakfast seemed to be untrained and no organisational skills

We stayed in teh older part of the hotel. The new rooms near the Lagoon Pool looked awesome though - wish we'd booked those.

Room was a little smaller then I expected. The sports bar was not very comfortable if you are sitting for a long time and they didn't vary the sports on the TVs much.
The facilities at the resort were amazing. The infinity pool has perfect view of the sunset and is a perfect temperature to swim at night or during the day. The Lagoon pool with the swim up bar was a great place to spend the afternoon relaxing. All of the restaurants served nice food with a friendly smile and if you want to spoil yourself il Piatto is a lovely fine dining experience. It is well located for a short Uber/Taxi to town or a walk to the Mindil markets. Our flights were changed last minute so we needed to stay another night and staff gave us a discount which was a nice surprise. We will definitely stay again but maybe in one of the pool side villas next time as they look divine. If you can afford one of the pool side rooms for a family stay the kids will love you for it.

Accomodation, because bed was sliding on wheels was poor, We have had much more comfortable beds in a lesser rated hotel.
Pool, view, restaurant, all good. But could n't get a good meal on our last night a Tuesday, we had to settle for bar food , a bit fed up of this after 7 nights.

The hotel rooms in the older part could be a bit bigger/have some renos.
We originally booked a Deluxe King Room. It was very small and had no view, the tiny balcony looked out onto a roof. We spoke to reception about moving rooms. They were able to move us to the top level for an extra $70 where we had a room that had a loung room attached to it. It also had a slightly better view. We felt much more comfortable in this room. Please note most of the very fancy modern rooms you see when booking are actually apart of the "resort" which is the pictures around the lagoon pool. The hotel part is fairly basic but still nice. It is next door to the Thursday night and Sunday night Mindil Market. You have use of all of the pools which are all very nice. It is on the beach and on a walking track that goes for kms! You can walk to the Wharf for a meal. 5 minute drive into the CBD.

There used to be a fantastic buffet but sadly it is not there anymore. The room needs a renovation it's looking a bit old, especially for the price they are asking.
The pool was amazing. Breakfast was good.
