This s our third stay at Mt Quincan. We love the tree top cabins. They are cosy and rustic, and you have a real chance of seeing tree kangaroos. We walked around the crater , and on the second night saw two female tree kangaroos, one with an older joey and one just poking its head out of the pouch. There is also plenty of bird life, skinks and geckos to keep you amused. A fantastic experience. . Will come back again.

The place was very cold in the mornings (in winter), and although there was a fireplace, there wasn't enough kindling or fire starters provided. Reception only opened for 90-minutes per day, so not much help readily available.

Location and unique design of accommodation that gives guests a treetop view. The breakfast provisions were appreciated. Wildlife, especially the tree kangaroos

Beautiful accommodation. Tree kangaroos visited our tree house frequently. We love that we can (gas) BBQ at the verandah. The bath overlooking the crater / nature is so beautiful.

The most amazing place we've ever been! On a mountain, in the middle of wild nature, equipped with everything you want. The main attraction is of course the amazing animals that surround the room. Really recommended.

    Having to leave 😕

The fact that you could do as much or as little as you wanted. The views, hottub, and fireplace. The wildlife. The little touches (complementary items e.g. port, chocolates, breakfast, freshly baked scones and bread).

For the price, we think it is time to upgrade some of the fixtures/fittings like tap ware and benches. Just to keep it fresh looking.

Amazing private treehouse set among bush and overlooking the crater. Quiet, Spacious and comfortable with everything that you would need. Freshly baked scones waiting on our arrival. Great spread of local foods for the complimentary breakfast. The deck overlooked the crater, perfect for watching the wildlife, complete with the friendly possum. BBQ provided. Complimentary port. The small touches were truely appreciated.

My only gripes were poor quality DVDs (The Bonfire of the Vanities anyone?) and when I went up to reception to request some more, reception was un-manned and unresponsive on not one but two occasions.

An amazing experience that everybody should encounter at some point during their lives. A “getaway” in the true sense of the word, it’s like living in a different country for 2-3 days. The property itself was incredible, with a bird’s eye view of the tree-kangaroos out the back. The hot tub and the bed were both very comfortable. There were also some nice touches designed for a couple’s retreat, including complementary port, chocolates, scones and even a dual shower!

While having WiFi would have been convenient, it wasn't necessarily missed. In fact, being without it added to the charm of being immersed in the tropical forests, allowing for a genuine disconnect from the digital world.

From the very beginning, the online communication with the staff was easy. When we arrived, there were chickens wandering down the path leading to the cabin. The breakfast selection in the fridge was quite impressive: sausages, eggs, fresh fruit, milk, orange juice, and even some fresh bread with clotted cream and jam. If we had known, we wouldn't have bought our own food beforehand! Despite the unpredictable and rainy weather, the staff at reception were always available to provide us with the latest weather updates, especially since the cabin did not have wifi. The cabin itself was a truly romantic spot: it boasted two showers, a luxurious spa bath, and a veranda with a breathtaking view over the crater. One evening, we even had the pleasure of seeing bats on our balcony! Given its charm, I can completely understand why people would want to get married at this enchanting spot. Coming from the Netherlands, it's a shame it's on the other side of the world for us, otherwise, we'd be staying here more often. If you're looking for a place to relax and escape from the daily grind, this is the place to be. Absolutely fantastic!
