We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

JapanBed was comfy but I did end up waking up a few times in the nights. Not sure why.
Room was as advertised with simple amenities like a kettle, complementary tea, ironing board. A small kitchenette in the common areas. Larger kitchen area seems to only be available during staffed reception hours. A quaint location for an inn which isn't too far from the CBD and is pretty close to the South Melbourne Markets. Air conditioning is available. Showers were quite nice. Lift being available for going up and down with heavy luggage was very helpful.

New ZealandIt would be helpful to have detergent, dish cloths and a rubbish bin in the first floor kitchenette. Then we could wash and dry the dishes you provided. Especially as the lovely full kitchen downstairs is only open during reception hours.

AustraliaThe penthouse seemed like they’d had cheerleading rehearsals inside the room - so much damage to the walls and ceiling and the patch jobs were very poorly done. It was just all the little things that made the stay a bit sub par, the fridge looked like it had been beaten up with a hammer, broken tiles in the kitchen, screws half hanging out of cabinetry, mismatched pillows. We picked the room for its impressive sized balcony, and yet there was no furniture out there, just a grubby floor and 3 air conditioning units. The redeemers were the comfy beds - despite being 2 singles pushed together instead of an extra large double as stated, and the location, pretty close by to most things. The one staff member we saw was lovely, communication was great before, during and at departure.

It would have been good if we had had permanent access to the kitchen. It could only be used when the reception was occupied,which was mostly not the case. It is a calm area in the South of Melbourne. However,be prepared to get a card for the public transport.
