TV reception continually failed. Holding my bags on checkout day was difficult as the reception is not staffed after 5pm.

Bed was comfy but I did end up waking up a few times in the nights. Not sure why.

Room was as advertised with simple amenities like a kettle, complementary tea, ironing board. A small kitchenette in the common areas. Larger kitchen area seems to only be available during staffed reception hours. A quaint location for an inn which isn't too far from the CBD and is pretty close to the South Melbourne Markets. Air conditioning is available. Showers were quite nice. Lift being available for going up and down with heavy luggage was very helpful.

Mattress needs replacing - it was flat and uncomfortable. Parking was tricky.

I loved the lift. The windows open for fresh air. Location is great for West end of the city access. Bathroom clean & well appointed.

It would be helpful to have detergent, dish cloths and a rubbish bin in the first floor kitchenette. Then we could wash and dry the dishes you provided. Especially as the lovely full kitchen downstairs is only open during reception hours.

Attractive room with city and tree views. Very clean and comfotable. I had a sunday to wednes upgrade so very good value for money. Patient staff

Location of the property is quite not so great especially if you have a car there is no parking on the site street parking is only for couples of hours

The requirement to give a $100 deposit and the difficulty getting it refunded on check out. The door to the room was hard to open and the sliding door to the bathroom was difficult to open.

no storage for clothing, and the lock on the door would not lock when you are inside at night... but you couldn't get in unless someone had a fob but still

No cutlery in the room to make a coffee. No cutlery or sponge in the kitchenette level one The TV on yhe side wall not opposite the bed. Tv hard to watch and it is dmall.Could do with patching the wall where the switch is. Fresh paint in the near future.

The penthouse seemed like they’d had cheerleading rehearsals inside the room - so much damage to the walls and ceiling and the patch jobs were very poorly done. It was just all the little things that made the stay a bit sub par, the fridge looked like it had been beaten up with a hammer, broken tiles in the kitchen, screws half hanging out of cabinetry, mismatched pillows. We picked the room for its impressive sized balcony, and yet there was no furniture out there, just a grubby floor and 3 air conditioning units. The redeemers were the comfy beds - despite being 2 singles pushed together instead of an extra large double as stated, and the location, pretty close by to most things. The one staff member we saw was lovely, communication was great before, during and at departure.

Not so much about the property, the street it was on didn’t have lights. So think the responsible person in government should do something about that.

A clean, and well designed space for a short stay. Very helpful owner - do their best to make your stay comfortable. Bedding was clean and bathroom was exceptional.

Great Staff and location, room was good value however the bed cod do with a new mattress or a mattress topper as it was very uncomfortable, we gad to put the spare blankets below the sheet to get asleep

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There is a fridge in the kitchenette and room. In addition,there is a laundry service one can use. It would have been good if we had had permanent access to the kitchen. It could only be used when the reception was occupied,which was mostly not the case. It is a calm area in the South of Melbourne. However,be prepared to get a card for the public transport.
