How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The facility had many support extras that were greatly appreciated, The facility is in THE BEST location. Close to the main street, restaurants and the beach. The two minor negatives were the bed if it was little more comfortable and the noise from the street each morning. If these could be addressed it would be 10/10

The property is extremely well looked after by the owners who have catered for all your needs while on holidays. I have not stopped in an apartment previously with so many little details thought of or provided! Plenty of toilet paper, washing powder for clothes, plenty coffee and tea, lovely towels, Netflix provided, great cutlery, dinnerware and glasses. Nothing else needed, the only thing that would make it a tiny bit better would be a better fridge (for keeping icecream frozen!) but really it is so central this place is close to perfect. Even provided change for the washing machine downstairs!! If only all holiday apartments were this good. Thank you to the caring hosts.

The property was even better than the images. It felt super luxe, yet homely, at a really affordable price. Lots of thoughtful touches. The location was fab - very central but off the main street so it was quiet. The pool area was better than I was expecting from reviews too. Check in was super simple. It was the stand out property of our month-long trip in Australia and I'd definitely recommend to others.

We loved this place!! Perfect location - in the main street, meaning walking distance to everything. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything you need (including a speaker and card/ board games etc). The pool was nice and refreshing and there were always pool chairs available.

The instructions for the parking could have been a little clearer. If they said it was the underground parking garage we'd have had no confusion. Otherwise, not a grumble.
Central location, parking under the building and just an all round very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Kitchen has all you need for a short stay but on longer stays the small fridge can fill up quickly if you dont want to shop every other day.
Excellent location right in the centre of everything. Clean, modern and airy apt in a block of holiday lets called Cher du Monde this apt is privately let and is way more luxuriously appointed. Pool area has a nice BBQ and deck.

AMAZING location; AMAZING little touches that was so unexpected; but so wonderful. Janine has throughly thought of everything that one would need during a stay. Best apparent in terms of location, cleanliness and in room amenities. Treats on arrival, games, books, even makeup remover… You really don’t need to bring ANYTHING! Great not to carry a key too, security code for entrance and apartment. Seamless.

All was good
An amazingly clean and beautiful apartment right in the centre of town. Everything was simply superb, the kitchen was fully equipped with all necessities and more. The owners put in a lot of thoughts on how to make their guests feel like home. We really liked it and would be happy to book again.

Genuinely nothing
We loved our home away from home! Janine and Ray were great hosts and easy to get in touch with if needed. The accommodation is in a great location walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The apartment is nicely decorated, is clean and tidy. It was perfect for what we wanted and there is even a really nice cafe right downstairs which we took advantage of most days during our stay.

The decor of this property is beautiful & it contains everything you need for your stay. Even little things like carry bags to use while there. The location is magnificent, we didn't need to use our car at all we simply walked to all the restuarants. Highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you.
Our hosting was easy to contact and the code system to enter the property is so easy.
