AustraliaNot necessarily cons, but Good to Know's / Wish We Knew Prior - Saw a stained diffuser upon check-in. Nothing major, reported it to Mon who offered to sort it out. Just wasn't pleasant to see upon arrival. - No area and items to wash after meals. We had to use the shower sink & the buy a dishwashing liquid next door. - Limited bins in the room. No chute in the floor, you have to take out/bring down your bins to the ground floor. - Shower door doesn't close properly causing it to leak/wet the floor (photo attached). They have provided a floor mat but it's not sufficient to keep it properly dry for multiple days. - You will see your neighbours and they'll see you from the balcony. Again not an issue, but a good to know if you'll have meals outside.
Good location, lots of shops nearby and close to other beaches. Has private access to the beach, a decent pool, and a bistro. Has essential plates, cutleries and glasses. Good size for 2 people, with balcony overlooking the Sunny Coast airport on one side & some views of the ocean on another side. Easy check in process, Mon was a gracious host and easy to contact when needed.

AustraliaThe shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The bar fridge was an adequate size but the freezer needed defrosting, it was so iced up that it was taking up most of the fridge space. Crockery and utensils for 2 but no washing up liquid supplied.

Not much. The room was small. Service is no existent. The check in staff made it plain that they were not involved with our particular room. We had to enter a code to get our key. That came via a text message. The waiting staff don't take your orders. The room is old and tired. There are other motels close by that are better value for money.

AustraliaThe room is described as a studio but it's a hotel room, with a microwave essentially. It is very small, and you could only cater a very basic breakfast. there is also nowhere else to sit other than the bed or the balcony chairs. I was expecting a slightly larger room with a small sofa or seating area and a kitchenette which is what a studio is. Also, the room and decor are looking a bit tired and cheap, it could do with sprucing up, some colourful soft furnishings and slightly higher quality modern furniture would help. There were also some signs of ageing such as cracked tiles on balcony...everything worked well, and it was very clean but just the aesthetics weren't there. The view is sideways onto the property so you can see the sea and the mountains but also in foreground a garage forecourt and wasteland and back of airport. I would say for price point its really ok though and if weather better we would have been out the whole time so the room would have mattered less.
The Smart TV had access to several streaming services which was really handy because we had really bad weather, the amenities at the hotel, they have a lovely heated pool, right opposite the beach, really great restaurant where we had a lovely meal, cocktails looked good though we didn't try, and we hired bikes out directly from reception, The receptionists were really helpful too., the full-size toiletries, the host of the room was very nice and helpful as well. The area is great, with a tonne of very good coffee shops, food and bars plus easy drive to Twin Waters, Maroochydore and Coolum/Noosa so it's a brilliant location if you don't mind the plane noise as opposite the airport.

AustraliaMore information provided on the lock box access and how there was a fob to work certain aspects in the resort and instructions on how the air conditioner works as a lot of the markings had faded away. For elderly people who aren't used to staying at these types of places these few thing were quite confusing.
The room was very clean and well presented but was quite small to what we were expecting.
