The backyard was so muddy that it was unusable, which was disappointing as the property was chosen because it had a backyard.

The house was well maintained and nicely presented. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfy.

Well equipped stand alone house, with 3 rooms 2 queen size bed and 4 bunk beds. Kitchen with stove, oven and microwave, and plenty of pots, pans, plates, bows, forks and spoons. Can foods are provided, and coffee machine with ample of coffee tablets, besides coffee and tea bags. Sitted on the hill, about 500 meter from the edge of the sea, walking at the seaside trail and enjoying the peaceful environment is soothing.

A wonderful retreat from the busy world here on KI. Very comfortable bedding and clean bathroom and floors. Staff were very good at communicating and made us feel welcome.

Nice house in a good location walking distance to shops etc. Older type house but was cosy and clean. It had pretty much everything we needed. Great comfy beds and good sized main bedrooms. The only bad points were mould on the silicon/grouting in the bathroom and kitchen. The toilet was in a strange location in the laundry away from the bathroom (and bedrooms).. We also could have used another garbage bag as there were no spares available. BBQ and outside of windows could have done with a clean as well. The garden was a little bit sad with lots of cracking soil visible but there is little water available I think so probably that's why.These were only minor things and did not impact how good we felt in the house, however!

Comfortable homely spacious well thought out plenty of last minute supplies catered for that you don’t always think to park. Easy access to property and good location ample bedding for number of guests booked

Property was easy to locate and was a good location. Key safe was easy to locate and easy to open. Grandkids loved the bunk beds - must have been really comfortable as the slept in - a rarity! Beds were comfortable and bedding was just right. The property manager was great - gave us plenty of information on what to see, where to eat, etc.

Property was clean, tidy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the wood fireplace especially as it was cold weekend and the island lost power for a little while. Communication with hosts was great!

Muddy back garden

Although fairly old it was clean and comfortable with everything. we need like bedding towels crockery. It was like being home and the dogs were happy and safe in the garden although the back garden was a bit muddy The internet was fast which was great as I was working as well as travelling.

The property is very dated and in need of some serious maintenance, particularly the floor which is very uneven. Although the property is clean ‘on the surface’ the exhaust fan, door frames, windows, blinds etc are very grubby. The property would benefit from a major clean.

The house was within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafés and shops.

property was adequate with nothing outstanding. Facilities are clean, tidy, but a bit tired. Bathroom and toilet are adequate but nothing great. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. Living facilities ok. Kitchen - neat and tidy.

Close to the beach, but street view is average.

House is clean and comfortable for a group of 6. Very easy check-in, host provided lots of information before check in. Comfort Big bed, Big backyard, and plenty parking space.

The property was due for a spring clean - there were biscuit pieces under the lounge From a previous occupant.

The property was reasonably well equipped. Whilst it was self contained we decided not to cook but there appeared to be everything we would need if we had de died to do so.

House needs a bit of maintenance - the laminate edging on the kitchen floor is sharp and could be dangerous for a crawling baby, overgrown weeds on the side of the property. Only access is via stairs, which made it difficult to get the pram inside - this is not obvious from the listing/pictures. Would be good to have a couple of board games, also would be better to have handwash at every sink (eg laundry sink where the toilet is)

Very comfortable & clean. Well-equipped kitchen, could cook full meals easily. Great location in central Kingscote. Excellent water pressure. Great TV with Netflix etc subscriptions.

None of the interior doors closed very well. Not all windows would stay open

- no plug for bath and sinks except kitchen. - not vacuumed under bed and couch etc. consequently makes me wonder about AC filter and such. - not all windows had working locks and windows screens were poor and let bugs in. - screen doors don’t lock. - tap in bathroom washer is perishing leaks from cold tap when turned. - vacuum cleaner has poor suction and was initially dead.

Reasonable for the price and has all your basics price is suitable for the property.
