Reviews of Opus Broadbeach

Loved our apartment which was clean and comfortable for our 1 month stay. The convenient location, with easy access to amenities, made our stay enjoyable. The proximity to bus and train lines offered seamless travel options. Additionally, a short walk to the beach and shops provided added convenience and enjoyment. We stayed in Unit 80 which had amazing ocean views. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming.

The apartment was exactly what we wanted and some. It had a full kitchen and plenty of space. The bedrooms were a good size.

Location was great - close to beach and walkable distance to nearby brunch/dinner options.

Getting the keys was very difficult even during the day ~2pm. No one attended the reception and calling the numbers received no answers until multiple > 3 attempts.

Great modern apartment. Good kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms. Great views, walkable to shops and transport. 2 playgrounds very close by, great for families.

The consumables provided were too little, despite an apartment service halfway through. Only single use sachets of dish washing liquid, laundry liquid, and dishwasher liquid were provided. No dish cleaning brush or dish drying rack were provided

The unit was a good size in a good location.

We were very disappointed in the position of our unit. It was on level 3 and the only view we had was the washing on the verandah of the units next door. In your advertising, it gives the impression we would have had a beach view. The car park was right on the bottom level with very tight corners and when you have a hire car this is added stress. We also had a broken plate which was not changed before we got there or during our stay. The lounge had quite a large stain on one cushion which had not been cleaned prior to our arrival and no attempt was made to clean it during our stay. Also, when we went to vacuum the floor, the vacuum did not work. When we looked it was full but could not be emptied as the clip to release the lid was broken ( not by us).

The apartment was super nice - really comfortable beds, balcony with sea view, huge TV for evenings, pleasant walk along seafront to get to Broadbeach North entertainment district where on all 3 nights we had unbelievably good meals.

The rug in the sitting area was a trip hazard - all 3 of us stumbled over an edge at least once. Dealing with out of hours reception wasn’t easy as they didn’t seem able to send an SMS to a UK mobile, and then gave the wrong email address for sending passport/ card details to allow for a remote check-in. Once we had been given the code to the key safe, everything was peachy.

Great location and the room was great with nice views.

Carpets were stained in part and there was some dings in the walls and I was concerned during the staff that we might be blamed for that and not get our bond back which I mitigated by taking photos upon checking in and sending them to Opus.

The after hours check in was ridiculous! Furthermore, after hours is after 3pm!! Then after the arduous and costly (if u r using roaming), you hv to re-checkin the next morning. And if you forget and have left before reception opens at 9am, u hv to come back before 3pm, or else, u cant get in again. Process could’ve been made a lot easier. Distance from the hustle n bustle of Gold Coast is pretty far. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as soap for laundry and dish washing provided were very limited - same amount given if u are staying for 1 night or 4 nights.

One cleansing and bathing set for one night stay is fair enough. However there was still only one set of cleansing and bathing set for 4 ppl for 3 nights. That’s really unpleasant. Literally, one extra item will cost $1AUD. The cooking utensils were not enough.

We were on Level 14 which gave us great views.

Furniture basically from Target or KMart very basic with no frills. The room felt sparse and the carpet was stained.

Great location with a view over the park and over the ocean. Walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, beach, parks, buses and trams. Spacious, clean apartment with comfortable beds and all amenities provided in a secure building. Quiet street and a quiet, well managed complex. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful! Very modern , super clean and a great location with views. About a ten minute walk into the main shops and cafes at Broad beach. Nice park , art gallery and sports club nearby. Close to casino and can walk to Pacifica Fair. Great beach. Lovely staff

Possibly looks like a new apartment block may be built next door which would block some views.

Beautiful comfortable property overlooking the beach. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was modern and clean. It was a short walk to the bus to take you to surfers paradise and to seaworld.

The system to pick up the key due to an already explained late check in was nothing short of a circus. Will never stop there again which is a shame as it was a great apartment but the run around to get the key was a problem that needs to get fixed

Modern decor in spacious 2 bedroom ocean view apartment. We always feel secure at Opus as each floor can only be accessed by the occupants.Owh and the beds are very comfie and clean. Fabulous wide span ocean and urban views, that are a pleasure constantly through out the day. Its our second time, staying there, for 4 nights, this time, and returning for 7 in a few weeks.Love the open space of the football field and bowling club across the road.The management and staff are friendly and abliging.

Hmm, car parks are a bit tight but doable, but hasn't put us off coming back three times.
