Hallway and/or stairs were very noisy with footsteps from other guests each morning and late Friday around midnight. Bathroom was a little small for large people and more shelving near basin would have been helpful but all in all it did the job.

Location to town and lighthouse and nearby attractions was ideal. A great spot for a few days stay. Guest lounges were charming and welcoming when available. Self serve supplies table in hall for towels, coffee etc is a terrific idea.

The shower head was a bit on the wonky side, but plenty of hot water

Easy self check in. Self service continental breakfast was very good. Nice coffee machine in breakfast room. Great location near to Rip View lookout. Cosy heating in the room. Heritage building atmosphere.

Great location, walk to beach, shops. Room small, but had everything you need, good instant coffee and tea, chocolate on the pillow! Great shared kitchen and outdoor space.

At the time of my stay renovations were being done and the place reeked of paint and other chemicals. It’s good they were doing this work but it was bad timing for me.

Beautiful building nice and close to ammenities. The Dyson heater is brilliant.

I am not a fan of self checking in.

I loved the old world character of the guest house and the decor of the public rooms. My room was small but had all I needed and the bed was comfortable.

We had a double family room in the back part of accommodation. We loved the shared outdoor kitchen facilities. So thoughfully decked out with everything you could need. We enjoyed our afternoon wine and nibbles on the lawn while having a hit of tennis. They had the fire pit set up for the night. Would come again and maybe stay in the main house.

The bathroom in our room was tired but everything else made up for that.

The location is amazing, charm of the building is lovely, and outdoor facilities excellent. The extras in the communal kitchen were great. Kids loved the tennis and table tennis.

We loved everything about this wonderful old building but the historic guest house style may not be everyones cup of tea.

We loved the old style vibe. The original part of the building is charming and excellent value. The facilities such as pool, shared kitchen and lovely lounges exceeded our expectations. The location is exceptional.

Pool was clean, tennis court clear but both a little ‘tired’ could do with a freshen up.

Clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making plus fridge for my wine! Good TV reception and comfy bed and pillows. Verandah outside with table and chairs. Well equipped guest kitchen. Great shower and plenty of towels. Pool and tennis court. Lovely old fashioned guest lounge and history of the guest house. About one block walk to shops and main beach and 10 minutes to the lighthouse and pier. All communication via text.

The walls were really thin! Could hear a baby crying and children running across the hall really loudly. Earplugs were a must.

Loved the quaint accomodation, the shower was like a pressure hose, the facilities were lovely and the bed was comfortable.
