At check-in, staff provided us with a file containing very useful information on the sanctuary and on things to do outside of it, colour coded by area. It unfortunately rained most of our stay, but even an umbrella was provided. The guided tour was lovely and very informative. There are games in the laundry room For long winter evenings.

Signs were too small ( ie print was too small) so hard to read. Hard to find cabin in the dark. Also found it difficult to get assistance to find the cabin as the person attending to any of my issues was not on site, and seemed to know little about the site and where the rooms were.

Everything was brilliant! Comfortable, clean and well provisioned. Loved the tour.

Excellent quality accommodation close to Port Stephens. The star attraction was the koalas of course but we stayed in a very comfortable apartment, super quiet and soundproofed, very safe, very clean, lots of facilities, but above all excellent hosts. They were incredibly kind and helpful so we really enjoyed our stay with them, many thanks!

We really loved the nature setting of the property. Stepping outside to such a beautiful space every morning was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and of course visiting the koalas was a special experience.

Fridge too small Lack of cooking ability It’s a kitchenette only - but I precooked before my arrival- but that’s why a bigger fridge would have been nicer - though it wouldn’t fit the space . With so much rain no way to dry clothes and shoes . Three days was just right then moved to a hotel for a longer stay in the area

-Glamping tents allocated is a bit of a walk from parking, especially when it is raining with kids in tow. -Mosquitoes... But other than these two points, the accommodation far exceeded my expectations re: glamping. Very comfortable inside the tent.

Clean and well maintained (clean shower and toilet, clean pool and surrounding areas). comfortable room and beds, with aircond, fan. Thoughtful and generous breakfast basket, including free bottle of sparkling, juices, milk and yoghurt.

Shower controls.

We loved being able to see the koalas with fewer people around. The koala morning tour was extremely informative and we learnt a lot. The park is very nicely laid out with lovely planting. It is all beautifully kept with no litter and we found it very relaxing. Our accommodation was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast pack was very welcome . Our room was spacious and functional. The shower’s controls were slightly difficult to manage. The staff were all very hospitable and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend staying at the Koala Sanctuary when visiting the area.

It was such a fun experience for our 4 year old. The continental breakfast items were a really nice touch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is lovely and the resort itself is surrounded by trees and nature which makes for a very relaxing stay.
