The beds weren’t as comfy as I’d hoped and I feel the room needs a rug under the bed to create more of a comfort feel.

The car park is a long way from the room, however when we asked for help our luggage it was brought to our room. The phone didn’t work in our room, so we had to ring from our mobile to request porter or reception which was not a direct service and there were long periods on hold. The restaurant was very average, understaffed and food was mediocre to poor which was disappointing. They kindly offered my husband a free dessert for his birthday but then charged us for it and I when I told them it was offered for free, we were passed from staff member to staff member like we were trying to con them out of a dessert it was embarrassing. It was finally taken off the bill after much scolding but it was an ordeal almost not worth doing. I just don’t understand why you would offer it and then make the customer feel embarrassed for asking about it. At checkout I was not asked once if we enjoyed our stay and the deposit I paid to cover any expenses they wouldn’t use it against our final bill and made us pay the bill with no refund of the deposit or a receipt showing we would be receiving a refund. We hope it comes.

The room was a great size with a kitchenette and the shower pressure was fantastic. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with native plants. The pool and view from the restaurant are beautiful.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was disappointing. While the food was well-prepared and we commend the chef, the service was poor: our drinks were forgotten, water was never refilled, and our meals took far too long to arrive. Guests who ordered well after us were served at the same time, despite our simple order of steak and pasta. Loud music from a nearby wedding also disrupted the atmosphere.

We loved our stay and found the accommodation exceptional – the room was spacious, beautifully presented, and very comfortable.

Shower heads in the bathroom are wrong. You need to add a smaller jet head as rainfall shower heads are no good for actual showering like hair washing

The cleaner came into our room in the morning, the system showed that we'd checked out. I complained about the system.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room was stunning and comfortable. Clean and facilities were really good. Loved the coffee machine in our room On-site restaurant was amazing. The food was beautiful. Good breakfast too. Enjoyed it here, id love to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool and views Great location too.

The front entry doors sent a cold blast through to the dining room. This wouldn’t be a problem in warmer weather. Perhaps 2 sets of glass entry doors to stop this.

It was great. Beautifully presented. Very friendly staff. Loved the spa as well. Fires were very welcome with the cold weather.

The kettle was not working, but the hotel was quick to replace one. The 2nd kettle had yellowish deposits at the bottom and we didn't dare to use it. Good thing there was a pot and induction stove for us to cook water. The wifi was also not working during our 1-night stay.

The room is clean, spacious and very well-equipped with utensils, knives, openers, microwave, induction stove, dish washer, kettle, coffee machine, dish washers, sponge etc. Really anything you can think of.

The staff were exceptional at every point. We had to change rooms because of a leak in the bathroom, we got a lovely room as an alternative option and staff were super helpful, and the move was trouble free. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were lovely - Denise at breakfast was super attentive and engaging- and have to thank Sarah & Management team for allowing us to check in a day later but still being able to stay the full 3 days as per the booking.

felt that the room was dark due to so many bushes at the front sliding door. Over winter it would be nice to trim back and let more light in. Also the bathroom floor grout needed cleaning.

Some of the furniture was worn- bathroom doors swollen and peeling. They got the meal wrong for one guest and we’d all finished eating by the time her tea came out.

Needed to wait for a while when checking in. Only noticed the A4 page on the door as we walked out stating that there was an easier check in option.

The complimentary bottle of prosecco for our celebration was a lovely touch. Every single staff member we encountered was fabulous, very welcoming and lovely.

The shuttle service took some getting used to and wasn't advertised. The service in the restaurant was slow at times, but that would be nit picking

The experience was enjoyable and the accomodation ticked all of the boxes. We were given a room upgrade to the lakeside chalet which was well received. The restaurant exceeded our expectations for diner and breakfast. We will be back!
