How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Only would have liked bigger bed. But that may have been due to the room change.
Comfy queen bed. Would have preferred king size. Dark curtains. No problem with noise. Very helpful person on reception. Close to restaurants. Reception very helpfully upgraded us to a room where we could make our breakfast. Close to airport.

Would like to have been told about no lift or restaurant before actually booking.
Coming in after reception closed was difficult as I am 83rd old. Thankfully my niece had collected me from airport and she managed to get me in to the motel.

Option for later check out would have been good having flown in the night before. Further away from the airport than I would have liked although I should have checked rather than go by the misleading name of the hotel!

The hand sink is just a little bit high. Lift is not working as it is being repaired but was informed to be operational soon.
Close to airport and city area. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Room is clean and tidy. The bed and pillow is comfy and we slept comfortably. The room is in good size and there's a complimentary drinks, water and hot drinks of choice upon entry.

There was only one thing I didn’t like, which was that when I went out the Emergency exit which was close to my room to get something out of my car, there was a hose running along the bottom of the outside of the Emergency door which I tripped over. Probably not ideal in an emergency & likely a health and safety issue.
Good size room high ceilings shower pressure was great lots of tea and coffee provided. Checking and checkout was easy. Would recommend and stay there again.

The room we were in was very dark and the lighting was not good, we had one small light by the window that flickered almost constantly, also the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, tiny light between mirrors which means the actual shower was very dark! We had 2 sinks in the bathroom which would have been great however one of the sinks the hot water tap did not work and the one that did “work” made a loud screeching noise every time the water ran. There was also a weird window that looked from the room into the shower, there was a blind on it but you could still see through the blind, a bit weird when staying with a sister.
The location was great for what we needed, short drive to CBD and Entertainment Centre.

Fair bit of work being done, but didn't disturb us and I'm sure it will be great when it's finished.
Our room was spotless and very spacious. Chose this hotel for close proximity to the airport and wasn't disappointed.
