Location was probably further away from the city than I’d like, so can’t easily walk anywhere (my fault for not paying enough attention to that when I booked). All 6 pillows were too chunky.

The rooms were nice, beds comfy.

Parking was tight on Level 2, especially when all spots are full. That's all.

Rooms were great, nice decor. Comfortable Beds. The Bistro had nice food. Nice place to unwind after a long stretch of the Great Ocean Road.

Given the price it felt that everything was extra. The only free access was to the pool which was pretty poor and not worth a visit. Even if there had been discounts on the spa facilities it would have felt better.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent room facilities .

Good location to stay after driving the Great Ocean road. The hot springs experience makes it special.

I tried to ring the hotel a couple of times beforehand but couldn't get through. Always an answering machine. Annoying, especially when their HP has such limited information re amenities. The bed was disappointing. Soft, without support. The lighting in the room was hopeless. No side lamps and only 2 small spotlight lights above the bed in the main area. Even with the hall light and bathroom light on and door open to the bathroom, it was dark. No TV entertainment options. The menu wasn't working either so access to hotel information, including room service, wasn't available. It was possible to ring room service but initially there was an answering machine. Limited menu choice. It was disappointing that as a hotel guest there was not more freedom, different options, to use the Hotsprings more and for shorter periods, rather than having to choose from the standard packages.

Location and Hotsprings. The layout of the baths was well thought out and surroundings pleasant, although unnecessary waterfall features made it noisy. Being able to walk through from the hotel completes the relaxing experience. Whilst the temperature wasn't as hot as the norm in Japan, famous for Onsen, 39/40 degrees is just right to sit in for a long time and enough to heat body core temperature to get therapeutic benefit. The mineral balance isn't sufficient to have any benefit in that regard. We had a room with a spa that was spacious. The buffet breakfast was good value at the pre-booked price.

Greeting when we arrived at the hotel. It was our anniversary received only a generic card and not even two little love heart chocolates. There was no care, the little things are so important.

Location, and the springs bathes. Restaurant that evening they were lovely, food was great.

the mattress was not very comfortable and the bed linen also was not very comfortable. maybe a more natural material bed sheets to make it more of a pleasant sleep would help.

the facilities were fantastic. having access to the hot springs was a big seller for us and if you stay at the hotel there is a slight discount on the spa and hot spring facilities. the resturant on site was nicely renovated.

The breakfast could have had more options (like non-dairy milk). I just ended up getting food elsewhere, which was fine, because I enjoyed the walk.

I came here for a solo trip to break up my school holidays. I was looking to stay somewhere I could get a little R&R, and loved that the hotel had all the spa facilities. I loved that you got a discount on use of these facilities as a guest of the hotel and I made the most of it! I booked the Hot Springs 6pm session and turned up on a freezing wet winter’s night, which made the pools all the more magical. I paid a little extra for an ocean view in my room and was chuffed to see I got an amazing view of the sunrise from the balcony. The bed was also very comfortable and I slept well. There are so many beautiful spots to walk right at your doorstep. Highlights were heading down the shore to see the horses go for their morning swim near the Breakwater Pier and walking to Pickering Point Lookout. The staff were lovely and, although expensive, the restaurant served good quality food.

The rooms were dated - not having option to have Netflix on the TV or chrome cast is surprising nowadays. The staff in the evening at the hotel restaurant were surprisingly unfriendly and I did find it quite ridiculous that the restaurant shut at 7.45pm - especially given it is far away from the centre and leaves you without options, even more so when the pool session is 6-9pm. These aren’t dealbreakers but for the price I would expect a little more.

The staff on reception were lovely, the place was nice and clean and it was very relaxing to be able to walk back to our room after our pool session. The entrees were surprisingly delicious and the rooms were nice and quiet.

I am a coeliac and communicated this prior to booking for breakfast to see if GF could be catered for safely when talking to restaurant staff on arrival. The first morning the lady who greeted me was not forth coming with food being prepared separately out the back as a buffet is NOT safe for coeliac disease. Under sufferance she said they could prepare poached eggs on GF toast. Stated other coeliac guests had brought their own GF food in that morning. My toast came out with no eggs initially as they did not want other patrons to see I “had special treatment” . I calmly stated you need cater for dietary requirements especially when staff reassure you cater for GF. Poor service in dining area so went elsewhere on our second morning .

Lovely modern clean rooms and very comfortable bed. View of the other apartments and garden was good.

Having to pay for parking and robes, it should be included. Slippers should be provided as well. Especially as there’s a hot springs and spa treatments. Been on other hotels for the same or less amount and had these provided. Being told at check in that we get 20% off the three things we booked and already paid for. Raised it with staff and management but only got reimbursed two of the three. The only thing not booked was a massage but it was booked out which was disappointing.

Clean, friendly staff, good location, loved the hot springs and spa treatments
