Not quite walking distance to restaurants , about 20 mins. Not ideal when it's really cold outside. Also, we have a large car (Amarok ute), which was so difficult to manovre in the cramped car park, that once we got into the park, we left it there & caught a taxi to & from restaurants. Also, if you use your car on a Friday or Saturday night, you'll most likely lose your car park, as there's not enough parks for all the units there. Suggest if you have 2 cars - bring the smaller one!!! One other thing, our shower leaked over the bathroom floor, soaked the bath mat, and the tiles were as slippery as glass, and very dangerous. We both slipped but were able to stop ourselves from falling. The tiled floor outside the bathroom was also slippery if it got wet or you stepped out of the bathroom with wet feet. They need to either change the tiles or put a non slip coating on them.

Bed was big & comfy, shower was hot & strong, room was clean and quiet. The nice gentleman on the front desk was fabulous, giving us a ground floor room (I'd recently had surgery on my spine,making stairs not ideal), and booking a taxi for us. Most helpful and very friendly 😊

There was a strange smell all through the apartment and the carpet in the first bedroom was soaking wet.

Cramped bathroom, with the door occupying much of the space. Dusty exhaust grills and cabinet handles.

Bathroom is a little too small. Would be better if the door opened outwards instead. We stayed 3 days, and no one came to clean our room. We had to help ourselves to new towels as they just didn't dry between use. Asked staff for towels but they never came. So grabbed them from the linen room as door was left open.

Not having an elevator when you need to carry heavy luggage up wet external stairs is tricky and would be difficult fo a lot of people.

It’s a little dated and not enough bench space in the bathroom. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was reasonably comfortable.

Location is good, a couple of nice cafes and short walk to main shopping area. Loved the shower pressure!

Apartment room sizes were perfect for a couple. Comfy bed. Easy walking distance to great breakfast at Whitby on the lake and pub, Lake View Hotel. Tram terminus just around the corner. WiFi connection a breeze.

Poor to NO WiFi in our room. No soundproofing between rooms Room was COLD 🥶 Had to keep heater on 30 degrees . This worked great.Not the most efficient way though
