The office was not manned, which made it hard for us to ask questions as to the unclean state of our room the missing sink cupboard door , whe would the oven be fixed as the note read but id guess the note had been there for som time and which tram stops are we best to use to different destinations etc , so I cleaned the apartment the next day and left it cleaner than when we arrived. Im an Asthmatic so the amount of dust and some mould is not good for me , so i hope they appreciated my cleaning of our accommodation. It was supposed to be an R&R break and a home away from home, well in a way you can say thats what we got it was a break from R&R and like being at home with the husbear & teenage girls constantly cleaning after them haha. Once I spent the day cleaning, i was able le to enjoy the next 4 days. Well, that's my rant , but I have attached photos

The bed, the closeness to Acland St and the shower, oh yeah, and the beautiful weather every day was the same, very unusal for Melbourne, and I lived there for 9 years. While it was sunshine and warm in Melbourne, Newcastle was having gloomy rainy days for the week we were away. Also, we stayed an extra night, and it was so easy to book and pay and happy they could accommodate us for the extra night at short notice due to our flight home being cancelled till the next night.Thank you

First day we arrived around midday so we dropped our bags, then got a text around 2 to say room is ready and then got a call saying I had to collect key and our bags before 4pm as reception was closing which we were never informed of beforehand. Sauna wasn’t working.

Appliances i.e washing machine,fridge and dishwasher all were defected leaking water not operating correctly, carpet ,curtains and furniture were not very clean at all.Kitchen pots ,pans and utensils very poor worn out.

The fact that it was nice and peaceful. Other residents did show respect and did not cause any problems at all.

Not enough blankets for winter. Heater was very noisy. Heated towel rack didn't work and no place to hang up wet washing or dryer. Shower leaked.

A very leaky shower head ran all night disturbing our sleep. The vertical blinds in the lounge were broken so the street light shone directly onto faces while trying to sleep. The locks on the 1st floor balcony doors were loose so the apartment didnt feel very secure. There was no long life milk for the supplied coffee/tea.

Close to trams and a pleasant 15min walk to St Kilda beach. The beds were so comfy and clean! The staff were very kind and helpful. Fully stocked bathroom/laundry - perfect for a longer visit to Melbourne. Plenty of room for our family of 4.

The check-in was difficult. I sent mails asking for the check-in instructions but nothing was provided until 3p.m on the day of the check-in. I had advised that we would be checking in late but no instructions were given. At 3p.m I was informed that the office would close at 4p.m. At that time we were in a train heading for Melbourne. I rang the number I had and someone told me that I had to pay a security deposit before check-in instructions were given. This whole affair was being played out while I was in a train. If the instructions had been given at 10a.m in the morning there would have been no problem.

Broken cupboards, dirty greasy stove air intake, leaking air conditioning in the living room. Price too high. I paid $2000 for 14 days with no housekeeping.

I’m sorry.. The kitchen & bathroom floor wasn’t clean, need to mop it. Also the sofa is broken (need to check), look old & not clean like as in the picture.

The apartment is in an excellent location, close to all that St Kilda has to offer, especially the Banff Cafe, and close to trams into town. The bed was very comfortable and the heating was fantastic in a very cold week.

Cutlery were not clean, didn't have enough cutlery and we had to ask for them, Bedding were yellowish, Had a smell in the room when we arrived but it went away easily on the same day once we turned the Heater on and open the doors etc.

Blocked drain in the shower (the building manager responded quickly and attempted to fix but it didn’t really work) and the apartment smelled like dog/cat when we arrived.

Spacious apartment. Great location. The sauna in the building is a nice bonus. Staff were really helpful throughout the stay.
